This small home provides the perfect short term rental in the off-season. Start your day with a walk to the beach, and walk to local restaurants in the evenings. This 2 Bedroom , 1 Full Bath Home comes with all the essentials you need to feel right at home. Great for a small family or a couple looking for a long weekend in the off season or a week or more during the Summer months. New mattresses, all new linens and comfortable living room furniture will allow you to relax at the end of the day, after taking advantage of all that Harwichport (and surrounding area) has to offer. A new large outdoor shower, gas fire pit and bonus outdoor living space in the garage adds to the appeal of this centrally located home.

Two week retreat

This is the third Spring vacation we've spent at this beautiful cottage. The home is immaculate with a well furnished kitchen, top of the line bedding and linens and a beautiful outdoor courtyard with seating, gas fire pit and shower. The neighborhood is quiet and close to the beach, with shops just one short street over. We love the fact that bikes are availble for use and the rail trail is only a short distance from the cottage. Our hosts were welcoming and responsive before and during our stay. We're already looking forward to returning next Spring!

Charming Harwich Getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay. The Cottage was Lovely, Cozy, and impeccably clean. We walked to the Beach and downtown Harwich exploring the many shops and cafe's. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit we would Highly Recommed this property to everyone.

A real gem

We had a wonderful time in the cottage which was even better than the pictures showed. One of the cleanest rentals we have come across. It is very cosy and we felt immediately at home. A big plus is the very short walk (not even 10 minutes) to the beach. It is a great location for exploring Cape Cod.

Darling cottage really was darling!

The house was so beautifully undated. It was clean and well stocked. The location was minutes to Main St for shopping and dining. We would definitely recommend this house. We'll be back!

Fantastic place to stay

Lovely home in a lovely area on Cape Cod. The home has everything you need in the kitchen, the bedrooms are really comfortable and the lounge space is large. Harwich is a great base and has loads of places to eat within walking distance.

Fantastic Cape cottage

This lovely home could not have been better. Every single need was provided for, and then some. Some of our favorite things about it were the simple but lovely decor, the extreme cleanliness and neatness, the fresh scented linens, the great location in a sweet neighborhood. We loved the fire pit in the back, drinking wine under the stars. We loved“downtown” area. The owners went out their way to be kind and helpful. This is one of the nicest vrbos we have stayed at, and would love to return. They have created a perfect home-away-from home for their guests and we truly appreciated our stay. Lovely cottage in perfect location

Our family of 4 spent a wonderful week in this cottage. The cottage is on a quiet street but just a block away from the main stretch of downtown Harwich Port, so it was an easy walk to plenty of restaurants and shops as well as to Bank Street beach. The cottage also had a nice outdoor space and came equipped with bikes and beach towels/chairs/games, all of which we put to good use. The owners were great at communicating with us. Would highly recommend this cottage for your Cape Cod travels!

Excellent stay at Darling Cottage!

Our family of 4 stayed at the Darling Cottage for 3 nights. The property was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, tableware, basic spices, etc. There was even coffee, creamer and sugar. We enjoyed the outdoor setup with the fire pit and ate a few meals at the outdoor table. The weather was glorious! The home is located within walking distance to the beach, downtown Harwich Port and the Harwich Port golf course, which my husband enjoyed. We enjoyed walking to restaurants and shops close by. The house was also well equipped with beach chairs, towels and coolers, which we did not end up using but appreciated the extra touch. We had an amazing stay at Darling Cottage and would love to return some day.

Great house...again

We liked it so much last year that we booked again as soon as we could for this year. Owners are great and the property was just as clean/well kept this year and more charming (backyard was redone to be even better than before). Good location, quiet street. Perfect for us. Highly recommend.

Great location, quiet neighborhood, perfect for our stay in every way. The outdoor space was especially appreciated, everything inside and out was clean and tidy. The house was well equipped, lacking nothing with bonus space in the cute outbuilding including beach/recreation gear. The owners were easy to communicate with and seem super sweet. Highly recommend!

Best Girls Getaway!

My friend and I stayed here for a girls getaway for my 30th! The room with the twin beds was perfect and felt like our college dorm all over again...with MUCH comfier beds! I would recommend this location and home to anyone looking for a relaxing Cape Cod stay. It is in the perfect location. My only regret is not staying during the summer season!

Wondeful 2 bedroom cottage in great location!

This was our second time staying in this very comfortable cottage, located just minutes from downtown Harwichport and from the local beaches. The hosts provided everything we needed and were excellent at communicating throughout this process. We hope to return!

Spring on the Cape

This house is perfect! Exactly how it appears in the photos. I cannot say enough about how comfortable the house is; decorated just right. Beautiful taste in furnishings; very comfortable bed and linens.We had a wonderful time in Harwich Port. Really enjoyed getting to know the area even though many of the restaurants were closed.
