This small home provides the perfect short term rental in the off-season. Start your day with a walk to the beach, and walk to local restaurants in the evenings. This 2 Bedroom , 1 Full Bath Home comes with all the essentials you need to feel right at home. Great for a small family or a couple looking for a long weekend in the off season or a week or more during the Summer months. New mattresses, all new linens and comfortable living room furniture will allow you to relax at the end of the day, after taking advantage of all that Harwichport (and surrounding area) has to offer. A large outdoor shower, gas fire pit and bonus outdoor living space in the garage adds to the appeal of this centrally located home.

Fantastic stay

Perfect for our family of 4! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything you need. The location was ideal for exploring all areas of the Cape. Highly recommend!!

Excellent stay at Darling Cottage!

Our family of 4 stayed at the Darling Cottage for 3 nights. The property was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, tableware, basic spices, etc. There was even coffee, creamer and sugar. We enjoyed the outdoor setup with the fire pit and ate a few meals at the outdoor table. The weather was glorious! The home is located within walking distance to the beach, downtown Harwich Port and the Harwich Port golf course, which my husband enjoyed. We enjoyed walking to restaurants and shops close by. The house was also well equipped with beach chairs, towels and coolers, which we did not end up using but appreciated the extra touch. We had an amazing stay at Darling Cottage and would love to return some day.

Great house...again

We liked it so much last year that we booked again as soon as we could for this year. Owners are great and the property was just as clean/well kept this year and more charming (backyard was redone to be even better than before). Good location, quiet street. Perfect for us. Highly recommend.

Comfortable, casual beach vibe

Great location, quiet neighborhood, perfect for our stay in every way. The outdoor space was especially appreciated, everything inside and out was clean and tidy. The house was well equipped, lacking nothing with bonus space in the cute outbuilding including beach/recreation gear. The owners were easy to communicate with and seem super sweet. Highly recommend!

Best Girls Getaway!

My friend and I stayed here for a girls getaway for my 30th! The room with the twin beds was perfect and felt like our college dorm all over again...with MUCH comfier beds! I would recommend this location and home to anyone looking for a relaxing Cape Cod stay. It is in the perfect location. My only regret is not staying during the summer season!

Wondeful 2 bedroom cottage in great location!

This was our second time staying in this very comfortable cottage, located just minutes from downtown Harwichport and from the local beaches. The hosts provided everything we needed and were excellent at communicating throughout this process. We hope to return!

Spring on the Cape

This house is perfect! Exactly how it appears in the photos. I cannot say enough about how comfortable the house is; decorated just right. Beautiful taste in furnishings; very comfortable bed and linens.We had a wonderful time in Harwich Port. Really enjoyed getting to know the area even though many of the restaurants were closed. Springtime retreat

This was our second visit to Harwichport and this warm and inviting cottage on a quiet street a short stroll from the beach. We enjoyed a two weeks of exploring the cape and the numerous beaches and nature preserves in and near Harwich. The home is immaculate and cozy, with a well stocked kitchen, top quality linens and bedding, and a comfy living space complete with stocked bookshelves and games. The converted garage is a big plus, with three bikes for use pedaling the neighborhoods or the nearby rail trail. When we are here we truly feel like we have a home away from home.

Quiet and Quaint neighborhood

Lovely quiet cottage with everything someone needs. It's in a beautiful and quaint neighborhood with lovely walking. The downtown is adorable. The hosts were easy to communicate with. Be prepared for a good nights sleep in this quiet neighborhood.

Cape Cod Christmas

We had a fantastic getaway at this beautiful home! We took our niece and nephew to the Cape - where my husband is from - for an early Christmas celebration and could not have enjoyed ourselves more! The cottage was so inviting, so welcoming, so cozy and so beautifully decorated… it was only about five minutes after we arrived that we thought how nice it’d be to have our family come out and stay with us there to celebrate Christmas! Michael and Lisa are very thoughtful and generous hosts; they made sure everything was thought of and there throughout the house to make you feel at home! Cannot say enough about this wonderful place… but offer our sincere thanks for making it such an enjoyable trip!

Wonderful stay

This place was just wonderful. Everything was clean, neat, and organized. There were all the subtle amenities there to make for an easy stay. The location was great, so close to the Main Street with shops and restaurants and a reasonably close drive to other destinations on the Cape. We would stay here again!

Relaxing Cape Getaway

This house was perfect for a few days away at the Cape. We were able to explore the surrounding towns, ride on the bike paths and walk to the local beach. I would recommend this property it is quiet, clean and convenient home.

Superior Cape Experience

We couldn't have asked for sweeter home than 18 Pleasant Street. Fully renovated while still maintaining that old New England flavor. Just a short walk from the beach and from the charming little town of Harwich. This is now our go to vacation rental when visiting the Cape. Thank you so much Micheal and Lisa.

Great home base for Cape Cod

We stayed at this Harwich Port home for a 5 day visit on Cape Cod. The location was very central for exploring all of the Cape. The hosts provided everything you could need for your stay. It was a great visit for my family and the home gave us a very comfortable place to enjoy during our visit.

Late summer vacation

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely two bedroom cottage just a few minutes walk into Harwichport, which was great for me after just having a knee replacement as it was a nice and easy way to start walking outside again! We enjoyed the gas fire pit, and the home had everything we needed to be comfortable. So close to so many great beaches and great shopping in Harwich and Chatham. The owners could not have been nicer and made the checking in and out process so easy! We had a wonderful time!

Perfect house and location!

This little house is perfect! Location just minutes to bars and restaurants in beautiful Harwich Port and an easy walk to the Bank St beach which we love! Awesome Vacation

This home is in a great location! We walked/biked to the beach, dinner and even golf! Its very clean and has just about everything you need. The hosts are super responsive too. One tip - you may want to bring eye masks to sleep in as the bedrooms are bright at night!

Friend Vacation

This was the perfect vacation. The house was very clean and close to everything. Walking distance to various restaurants and shops. The beach was walking distance but we drove because of coolers and chairs. The only suggestion that I have to the host is a mirror in the spare bedroom. I would highly recommend this cottage. Can't wait for the 2024 calendar to reserve for next year. Thank you again
