Beautiful, private cozy cottage with nightly stunning sunset set directly on Roger’s Lake. Only 10 minutes to public beaches, literally the best of both worlds. This property has recently gone through many upgrades including a 30 foot by 6 foot boat dock. The home also has additional parking across the street. The cottage has a master bedroom sleeps 2, middle bedroom sleeps 3, loft bedroom sleeps 2 and 1 remodeled full bathroom. Sleeps 8-10 with pull out sofa in living room and an additional sofa on porch. Kitchen is small but beautifully remodeled with new appliances and granite countertops. Unmatched relaxation and location. We have paddle boards, a canoe, several tubes and life jackets. Bedding, pillows and towels are not provided.

Can't get any closer to the lake unless you're on a boat!
Beautiful lakeside cottage that clearly has history. Very clean and quaint. One of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. We came as a family of 5. Two adults, 17, 12 and 10 and our frenchie who quickly became a lake dog. I grew up near Roger's lake was so nice to return after all these years. Lots of kayaking, fishing and swimming. Grocery and liquor stores just a short drive. Loved that Coffees was still there( great little market and deli).
While the location on Lake Roger was great, we had a terrible experience. On our third day, there was a problem with the electricity. The electricity to half of the house which included the water pump, the stove, the refrigerator, the major air conditioner, and the bathroom lights went out. We checked the breakers and did as much as possible, but this did not solve the problem. The electricity came back on intermittently then went out again for the remainder of the night, leaving us with no running water and no ability to flush the toilet. We contacted the host. The host sent an electrician, but he could not solve the problem and suggested we contact the electric company. We could not stay in a house without running water or a working toilet, so we had to leave our vacation early. The host agreed to reimburse us for part of our stay and only reimbursed $100. This was an unsatisfactory resolution to the situation and we were very disappointed.
This home was as amazing as it seemed, and more so! The location right on the lake was wonderful, and we were in the water all day long. Close to other things to do and shopping and restaurants/bars. We do wish the light switches were labelled, as there were many that we did not know what they went to, and we could not figure out which ones to use for some of the fans. But overall fantastic, made good use of the canoe and paddleboard for sure! Thank you so much, cannot wait to come back!
My children and grandchildren visited and the kids had ball fishing off the dock (very busy for papa).
We did bring a 12x12 easy up for shade in the afternoon.
We all had a great time!!!
We had a wonderful stay with all the comforts of home! The grassy side yard was great for the kids to run and explore. The new lit dock and finished patio were so nice in the evening after a busy day. We enjoyed watching the 8 person rowing groups go by the cabin too. The lake was pretty quiet with little motor traffic.
Only draw back was how busy the street was. Everything else was wonderful. Neighbor were very friendly pointed us in the best direction to catch some fish. Loved watching the rowers go by each morning. The family of ducks was something to look forward to each day.
Had such a great time at Cara's house. Upon arrival, I did find a fruit cup on the floor and a blanket on one of the beds was wet, but, that didn't deter us from a great weekend! Thank you Cara!
We had a wonderful week on Lake Rogers at this home. The cottage is right on the water. The dock is perfect for using a boat on and the kayaks we brought in and out. The water is pretty clean. Great for swimming on a hot summer day right from the dock. There’s lots of seating outside, and a nice view from inside the house. The street is narrow and busy so parking was a little tough and I watched the kids carefully when getting in and out of cars, but we managed with our 4 vehicles and boat trailer. Fishing on the lake was a blast! The cottage is very clean and cutely decorated. Just a little rustic with amenities.
Communication with the owner was easy and pleasant. We will hopefully be making this a new annual tradition family vacation spot.
If you want a place to relax and enjoy Mother Nature at is best here is the place. Right on the water with a beautiful dock and canoes and tubes. Roger’s Lake is beautiful and filled with lots of fish. We caught Catfish right off the dock! The place is on the smaller side but perfectly manageable with the # of beds. The AC is on point which was perfect to beat the humidity. I will mention that the house sits on a narrow winding road that gets a lot of traffic but was manageable. We took the pupp for multiple walks and just crept to the side and cars always slowed down and moved over. One small fyi - they have well water so prepare to bring some bottle water with you! If you don’t local stores right around the corner OR stores deliver right to the door if you have their services Cara was responsive when needed and we had a wonderful time. We look forward to coming back!
This was our second time here. We are from CT and it is about an hour from home, but couldn’t ask for a bigger slice of paradise between water activities, downtime, ability of family to stop over and swim, the dock and lake itself and the sunsets. Also, myriad of local activities, ocean beaches.
The house itself is nice & clean, but on small side. Listing says can sleep 12 and it likely could, but we would not be comfortable with that many full size people. The dock is great for jumping, canoe and SUP available. We brought our kayaks.
Beautiful surroundings, felt lucky to be there. Very likely to rent again.
The location is ideal, and it’s wonderful to have a paddle board, kayaks and life jackets available.
The house is rustic, cozy and comfortable and the air conditioning is effective. Thank you!
The cottage has a great location right on the lake - beautiful seating outside- fantastic sunsets!! We loved the dock… I would say the cottage is geared more towards 5 or 6 adults at most with the one bathroom and loft sleeping area. Cara was an amazing host - checking in with us to make sure everything was going ok - the first day we did not have any hot water but we spoke with Cara and she was quick to respond and had the hot water tank replaced the next morning. Enjoyable get away.
