This brand new 5 bedroom 4.5 bathroom home located in the gated Solterra resort is finished to a very high standard and really stands out.Perfect for families wishing to visit the theme parks, beaches or simply wanting to relax as a family.The Solterra resort includes both adults and childrens pool.The latter with kids water slides and a seperate kids playground.There is a lazy river for all to enjoy, private cabanas, on site cafe, tennis a gym and much more.The home itself occupies a corner lot and has a private pool with sun lounging area, covered dining area and an outside toilet for your convenience on the pool deck.Pets are not allowed in this rental.

Our Visit

Very disappointed with the property. The property was not clean. Couches visibly soiled, cob webs, the property smelled, and one bathroom shower/tub backed up. Someone came to unclog the drain and left the big glob of hair in the bathroom trash for us. Amenities that were supposed to be there were not. Reached out to the owner of the property a few times and took time to respond because in a different country. This property is managed by a third party and it is obvious they don't care. I've always had amazing stays with VRBO but this was disappointing.

Never again

Too many surprises like no one told us the pool is $35 a day if you want it heated. Very noisy neighborhood loud RAP music. A lot of loud voices, all hours of the day and night. Just people that don’t know how to act. they give you a contact phone number, but nobody answers the phone. Coming here from our home in Marco Island was a total shock.

Great resort property

Very nice place, lots of rooms and beds. Big layout and decent amenities. To make it a 5 star needs to include more of the basics for travelers. Garbage bags, salt and pepper, maybe some coffee or filters so you don’t have to buy absolutely everything. Other than that it’s a beautiful area and access to the resort pool / gym is great.

Great Family Stay

Pros: The neighborhood is very nice and well kept. The resort area is beautiful, with a lazy river, café, and water slide. The location is great. It's about 30 minutes from all theme parks, but please note that traffic is pretty bad so plan for at least an hour on the road when going to that area. The house was gorgeous, clean, well organized and furnished very nicely. We picked it based on these things, and that it was newer. Cons: The property manager is in the UK, so there is a time difference that plays a role in communication timeliness with the US. There were a few delays, but nothing was left unattended. Any items that needed to be addressed, got taken care of. There is not enough towels/beach towels in the house to accommodate the amount of guests it holds. Overall, we plan to go back and stay in Solterra. Great Christmas vacation.
