Excellent away home.

Great little home away from home. A small orientation list for newcomers would be helpful. Closest groceries, gas and such. Outside of that all and all VERY pleasing.

Relaxing stay

Very clean and nicely furnished property in close proximity to the community beach. Great choice for a getaway for a small group or family. Hosts were easy to communicate with and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Another relaxing visit

Returned to the property this year for 10 day stay. It was just as relaxing as it was last year and the owner was responsive to our needs. The house is cute. The back deck was upgraded. We love being able to walk around the community with all of its charm and river activities. Great place to go with family and friends.

Cute Cottage in Water Oriented Community

We stayed for five nights. Very comfortable cottage, extremely clean and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the short walk to the water and the water view from the rear deck. Neighbors were friendly. There are two beaches (short walks), but we did not use either. Chain grocery stores are about 30 minutes away.Definitely recommend the property!

Birthday Celebration Weekend

Our stay was amazing! Christine and Ash are wonderful hosts. Their home is lovely and very accommodating. From beautiful decor, fresh flowers and mint, to scenic bay views on the front patio and rear deck! The weather cooperated, resulting in perfect beach days and amazing sunsets on the Bay! This is a beautiful property with an amazing view of the Chesapeake from the back deck. The little touches Ash & Chris put into this property was absolutely perfect. Perfect getaway in a quiet little peace of heaven

What a beautiful little property in a quaint little town! Everything was amazing honestly. The owner even stopped by to drop off some batteries for us! They were awesome, and I would definitely stay again!

Charming bungalo . Decorated great. Clean, new, very inviting. Loved it!!

Had a great day Saturday, weather was wonderful !! Saw 2 bald eagles Sunday morning. Weather wasn’t great Sunday so we went to Chesapeake city and had a great time at the Chesapeake inn. Nice drive there!!loved the beach grill, sat outside , chatted with other folk sitting next to us. Everyone very friendly!!!

Summer fun at the cottage

Check in was super easy. The cottage was cute and clean. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time near friends. The community is quiet during the week and a bit busier on the weekends. The beach and the water were exactly what we expected. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Great Thanksgiving weekend!

We used this cozy cottage as overflow for a Thanksgiving get-together at relatives in the area. It was wonderful having our own place where we could relax and recharge. We loved the cute, updated, well-planned rooms. We walked along the water every morning, enjoying the peace and views. Our favorite activity was a 12 mile bike ride on the paved trail starting in nearby Chesapeake City. Will definitely book here again when in the Earleville area!

Perfect Spot for our Team Retreat!

One of the best experiences we've had at a STR! The cottage was the perfect size and decor for our team retreat. It was clean, airy and bright; the kitchen was fully stocked with nice pots and pans, utensils, and even some common seasoning items; everything was in terrific condition and clean! The neighbors were also very nice, and it's so close to the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks around the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this STR for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

weekend getaway

Communication with the host was excellent and check-in was easy. The size of the cabin was just perfect for us, cozy and comfortable and very clean. The living room was spacious for us to play board games and lounge. We found everything we needed to use in the kitchen and there was enough space to prepare and cook. The beds were comfortable, and we had a restful sleep. The location was awesome, and we found the neighborhood quiet and safe. It was a short walk to the beach, and we were able to watch the beautiful sunset and gorgeous view of the bay. We visited nearby state parks and saw picturesque towns along the way that added to our delight.

Earlville stay

We had a good time. The house was very clean and tidy. We did not realize that it was part of a close community with houses very close together or that one had to pay to go on the beach etc. But we did go down one day to the public beach but the steps were pretty eroded and one needs to be very careful. But once we got down there it was serene and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and looking out at the Bay in the morning and at sunset. Chesapeake City and Chestertown are pretty close and we liked that. Chris was very kind and responded immediately the one time I sent a message. Thank you, Chris

Beautiful Cottage

Cottage was immaculate! Neat, clean & well equipped! Owner was quick to respond. Problem for us was the location. Area was a bit sketchy, beach was not swimmable. Sunset, however, was gorgeous. This home is perfect if you just want to relax & enjoy the view. In terms of restaurants, things to do- not much there.
