We very much enjoyed our stay - great place (we hung out on the beautiful front porch a lot) and close to Tweetsie which was on our to-do with the little ones. Had a little issue with the hot water but Christine got a plumber over to the property the same day and the issue was taken care of. Highly recommend staying here!
We stayed here for an ASU football game. The property was well maintained, clean and accommodating. There was even locally made jam and fresh bread waiting for us upon arrival. We will definitely be staying here for future visits to Boone!
We had a great stay at this property over Christmas. The location is very convenient to both downtown Boone and surrounding areas. There is a grocery store less than 5 minutes down the road. It has a really nice porch, though it was a bit too cold for us to enjoy on this visit. No complaints at all about our stay. We'll definitely consider staying here next time we're in the area.
Christine was super communicative, very helpful, and the house was fantastic. It’s a very short drive from App but also remote, so it’s a perfect balance.
We have stayed at many VRBOs over the years, but this home was the best. The interior was spotless and the house was remodeled to perfection. We had everything we needed. The owner also provided a fresh loaf of bread and apple butter. Quiet neighborhood too.
We loved everything about this place - from the ideal location, to the communication with the hosts, to the warm welcome to both us (Stick Boy bread and apple butter) and the dog (dog biscuits), to the front porch swing and rockers, to the large yard, to the comical signs in the bathrooms, to an overall relaxing stay. We look forward to returning!
Christine is a wonderful host and the property is immaculate, highly recommend. We were only there for a weekend to visit our college student but loved the house and it’s convenient location to the college.
Sitting on the beautiful wide, long, covered porch was so relaxing and comfortable morning, afternoon, and evening. The location is so nice - set back far from the road, with no neighboring houses. The house structure and decor was outstanding, and Christine was so sweet and wonderful to work with. What a great getaway!!
Everything about this property is excellent and as stated in listing. Christine was very helpful and kind. Truly appreciated the local fresh bread and jam. Our dogs loved the big grassy front yard to play in.
The house is absolutely beautiful!! Newly renovated and incredibly clean! Everything is thoughtfully laid out and very welcoming from the minute we walked in the door.Very large- fully equipped kitchen- beautiful bathrooms - comfy beds- and the front porch is awesome! It even has a dog gate so your furry friends can hang out and still be safe. The host was very responsive and very sweet. The location couldn’t be any better . You are very close to town -maybe a 7 minute drive and the neighborhood is very nice ! If I could give it more than five stars, I would - I highly recommend it and it’s for sure going to be our go to spot whenever we go back to Boone!
Great house, very well appointed kitchen, super clean and close to App State. The small personal touch gifting us a loaf of sourdough bread and fresh peach preserves was so kind. A nice unexpected surprise is always appreciated.
We spent a long weekend in Boone to celebrate my birthday and visit our daughter at App. The house was clean and comfortable. We were greeted by a beautiful basket of Stick Boy bread and local jam. It rained all day Saturday (which our dog did NOT enjoy) but we still found the massive covered porch to be peaceful. We ate at wonderful restaurants like Wild Craft and Coyote Kitchen.
This place is fabulous! It looks even better in person. It is spotless and updated in every way. It was a short drive to downtown Boone. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing and sipping our coffee. Christine was very responsive for any questions. We’re hoping to book it again next time!
Conveniently located to downtown Boone and surrounding areas. From the minute you walk in you feel like you are at home. So warm and inviting. Beautifully decorated and fully
Stocked home. The Stick Boy bread and peach jam were a wonderful surprise. We were lucky enough to be here when it snowed. The driveway was cleared for easy access in and out of the driveway. Great communication with Christine.
This property was perfect for our group. The 4 of us were celebrating a birthday and attending an AppState Football game. The house was easy to find, convenient to town, but felt like we were away from everything! We were able to Uber to and from the football game, no problem.
The house was clean and spacious, we loved the large porch, and the bread from StickBoy Bakery was enjoyed by all
My husband and I have stayed at Christine’s rental 3 times, that’s how much we love it! Their home is perfectly clean and tidy and warm and welcoming! You can tell they put a lot of thought and effort into making their home inviting and enjoyable. Anything you could possibly need during your stay, is available. Christine is very responsive in communicating and is always so sweet and kind! Let me not forget that PORCH! It is SPECTACULAR!!!
The yard and porch are beautiful! The fireplace with remote is great. Updated bath and shower and the beds are comfortable. Master has a nice walk out deck. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials to prepare family meals. We really enjoyed our stay. The home is listed as a 3 bedroom but it’s actually 2 bedrooms. There is a sleeper in the living room. We will book again.
A Welcome Basket with Apple Butter and Stick Boy Bread along with a House Guide, and tourist booklets were on the counter when we arrived.
This is the most well equipped home we have stayed in. We have been visiting our App Student frequently over the last 4 years and have stayed in and around Boone in various sized homes from tiny houses to large cabins that can accommodate 10 people. This property has the largest driveway, the best towels and the biggest porch I have ever seen. I think my favorite feature was the remote control gas fireplace. That warmed me right up when we got back from our outdoor adventures.
The owner reached out to see if we needed extra pots or pans or anything since it was Thanksgiving. I thought that was really sweet.
The location of this home is great. We used Google Maps and found lots of back ways to get to places. We discovered neighborhoods that we did not know existed.
The beds were comfortable, the pillows, blankets and towels were plentiful.
We will definitely try to book this house again when we return to Boone.
We had a great getaway in Boone, and our host is a pro! The home was beyond our expectations, beautiful inside and out! Location is private yet close to everything. We felt so welcomed and at home here… I highly recommend, and we can’t wait to go back

Hi! My name is Christine and I am enjoying life in the Blue Ridge Mountains with my husband and our son. We love the area and all the simple beauty it has to offer. Come stay in beautiful Boone with us!
Why they chose this property
This property is perfect for so many reasons! It is spacious with lots of areas to hang out, huge front yard (rare for the mountains), and minutes to town. 5 minutes to middle of Boone. Close to Appalachain, Beech and Sugar ski slopes and Hawksnest tubing. Sit on the porch and hear the birds chirping and jump in the car and be in the center of everything within minutes. It's the best of both worlds!
