The only good aspect of this trip was the easy access across the street to the beach. Unfortunately there was zero communication which led to unnecessary stress while traveling with family. I emailed three days before check in and no one responded, the days leading up to check in I had called and left messages which also were not returned. I was checking in late and needed to make sure I would have access to the property since I am traveling with a child. The number for the property on the confirmation email was disconnected. I had even reached out to Expedia and VRBO to ask for help and they could not get in touch with the host or the property. I got an automated text message 40 Min before check in with the door code and that was the only communication that was received. The amenities inside the room were below average and bare minimum in quality including the towels, bedding and even the sofa bed; where it was more comfortable to sleep on the couch cushions than the pull out bed.
