Boykins Rest is a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath house located 1 mile west of Garden City Pier and a short golf cart ride to the beach. This property features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances including a microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Five TVs (Roku in bedrooms), DVD player, and Wi-Fi are also included. Sleeping accommodations include one king and one queen-sized bed, plus one twin-over-double bunk bed and a queen-sized sofa bed. Outdoor amenities include a large, fenced-in backyard with a private 14-by-32-foot swimming pool, pool deck and furniture, covered porch, hammock, sitting area with flat screen TV, and kitchenette with gas grill, and mini fridge. Owner will reimburse guests up to $150 for golf cart rental on weekly reservations. Dog-friendly. Limit one dog - 50-pound maximum weight limit. Please see the office for pet policy details. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.
