LAKE DAYS: Lawrence Lake is a 224 acre lake located in Marquette County. Crystal clear water, great fishing and swimming, and easy access from your own private dock. PLEASE NOTE DOCKS ARE REMOVED THE FINAL WEEK OF OCTOBER.

Cozy Cottage

Beautiful cottage with all the amenities for a wonderful stay. Caught some nice perch & blue gill on the lake, yay! Enjoyed just hanging out on the deck relaxing catching up on some reading. Being able to bring our dog was just an added bonus. Thank you again for sharing your cottage!

great lakefront getaway

We enjoyed our family get-together in this very clean, well equipped lakefront home. We enjoyed the kayaks & rowboat on a beautiful day. The fishing was great. The house had plenty of space for relaxing and had a big enough table for playing games. Wifi & smart tv was a big plus. Also, the view of the lake from the house was really nice. The owners, Stacie & Greg were immediately responsive to any questions we had.

Restful family getaway

This was the perfect weekend to unplug with our 2 teenagers! Greg and Stacie, you have a real gem here on Lawrence Lake. Every detail was well thought out to make for an easy, home-away-from-home vacation. Very clean, well-stocked and comfortable... and all questions were responded to instantly. Anniversary Getaway

We wanted a location that was lakefront with a wood burning fireplace that was pet friendly. The setup at this house was everything we were looking for. It was cozy, clean, and well stocked in the kitchen, with everything imaginable! Wood was available for purchase right on sight. Calls or texts made to the owners were answered very promptly. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. We were ice fishing during our stay. Since another property of theirs was open at the time, they offered that we could park at that property and try fishing at that site on a different lake as well! We were very happy with all their hospitality, and would definitely recommend this property!!!

Quiet and clean

Stayed for a long weekend to go ice fishing on Lawrence lake. The home was clean and cozy. Kitchen was well equipped. The property owners communicated quickly with any questions we had. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you Stacie and Greg!

Beautiful Setting

The updated, clean, well-maintained and well-equipped property was a joy for 3 nights. 3 days of 70-degree temperatures was a great start to November. We enjoyed tootling around the lake in their large well-built rowboat with our electric motor on the crystal-clear waters of Lawrence Lake. Although our fish finder said they were plentiful, for some reason they just weren't biting our live minnows and redworms. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and we slept like babies. Stacie and Greg were a pleasure to work with and they even quickly refunded our payment when we realized I initially booked the wrong week. Looking forward to visiting again when the water is a little warmer and the fish hungrier. Thanks Stacie and Greg for a nice spur of the moment getaway. Bob and Marla

The Perfect Fall Retreat!

My husband, two adult daughters, and pups needed a relaxing getaway from school and work and the Rogue Retreat did not disappoint. Gorgeous! My husband fished in the row boat, I kayaked with the girls and the pups swam and went on walks in search of deer. The views were breathtaking and the accommodations worked perfectly for our group. The weather was perfect for sitting around the fire pit, making s’mores and stargazing. Can honestly say we returned to our lives refreshed. Thanks Stacie & Greg for sharing your beautiful cottage and making the process seamless - we’ll be back!

Calm and beautiful vacation house.

Beautiful house, beautiful view and a beautiful location. We really enjoyed our stay. It was very cold during our stay so we were not able to go for boating. We are planning to go next summer to enjoy boating and fishing.

Life break

Beautiful cabin which was exactly as listed. So relaxing and every comfort needed was there. A basket of smores fixings was a cute touch! And fall decorated. Great little piece of paradise!

It was an amazing getaway! My husband and I were looking forward to this getaway and it did NOT disappoint! House was fully furnished with a lot of extras, house was clean, all other extras items were easily accessible, and hosts were available the quick click of a text of need! Peaceful lakeside cottage.

Hosts are very attentive and have thought of everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. The cottage has great views, and is accurately represented with comfortable beds. Fun lake for fishing, and enjoying the kayaks and SUP boards, and bonfires at the end of the day.

Very nice cottage

Very spacious. Very clean. Kayaks and paddle boards were in great condition and an added bonus to not have to bring our own. House well stocked with everything you need. Would definitely go back.

Such a great place to stay!!

We loved everything about this place! So much to do and bonus of kayaks, paddle boards and row boat that are included! The cabin is really awesome and cozy, a very homey feeling. The hosts were extremely courteous and pleasant and we definitely would want to go back!

We are the Opahles - Greg, Stacie, Sawyer, Maddy and Murph! It has always been a dream of ours to own a lake house which can be shared with others. We find so much peace and relaxation at our lake house and truly hope those that visit share the same way!

Why they chose this property

We've put a lot of thought into the items we provide so that families can come with only the necessities and not have to worry about bringing too much along! We even have a pack n play, highchair, and toddler serving ware available for ease! Besides the amenities we provide on the property, the views and lake access can't be beat! We chose Lawrence Lake because it is a "quieter" lake - you will not have jet-skis or water-skiers shooting past on your swim out to the floating swim dock. There is an island surrounded by sand bars to the east of our property which we highly recommend taking a kayak or paddleboard over to explore! Fishing on this lake is PRIME - both for summer and winter! Make sure you bring some marshmallows for roasting over the bonfire and for those chilly winter nights, make use of the natural wood burning fireplace indoors. If you can't sneak away from work for your whole stay, feel comfortable using our workstation (complete with USB ports and outlets) while connecting to the fiber wireless internet.
