Perched on the top floor (there is no elevator in the complex), this third floor condo has the perfect panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean. It's close enough to all the exciting action at the boardwalk, yet far enough away from the crowds to provide peace and quiet. Listen to the crashing waves and enjoy the endless views from the large oceanfront balcony! You'll love the tall chairs on the balcony so you can see OVER the railing instead of through it! You feel like you're right ON the beach!! With your coffee in hand on the balcony, sit back and watch the sunrise and take in the ocean air to start your perfect day at the beach.

This recently and tastefully updated two bedroom, two bath condo on Pleasure Island offers a comfortable and clean retreat as your home base while you enjoy the plentiful activities in and around Carolina Beach. A full kitchen, in unit laundry, and comfortable dining and living area with breathless views of the ocean will make you feel at home. Both bedrooms are spacious, have comfortable king beds (linens and bathroom towels provided), and access to a second balcony with peek-a-boo ocean views. With beach access on both sides of the condo, the ocean is literally only steps away. Need a little pool time? The Sun Skipper complex offers two gated pools for guests to enjoy.

Carolina Beach offers a large variety of fun for all ages. Hike Carolina Beach State Park and take a kayak tour down the Cape Fear River. The Ft. Fisher aquarium, Ft. Fisher Museum and Historic Site, and the Ferry to Southport are only a 15 minute drive down the beach. While on the south end of the island, stop by the Kure Beach Pier for some fishing or ice cream. Have a 4 wheel drive vehicle? Take a spin on the north end of the island at Freeman Park.

Summers are not to be beat in Carolina Beach! Spend your days on the water and your evenings on the Boardwalk. Amusement park rides, live music at the gazebo, family nights, bingo, and the free firework show on Thursdays are all happening down along the Boardwalk. Look for the weekly outdoor movies and farmer's market around Lake Park for some additional summer fun.

Want more? Wilmington is only a 30 minute drive for museums, carriage rides, beautiful mansions and historic homes, ghost walks, the North Carolina Battleship, many restaurants, bars, and some great shopping.

Great views and proximity to beach

Overall we were happy with the condo. Easy beach access. Nice views. Very comfortable. Not much in the way of walkable restaurants, but driving wasn't difficult since we were always able to find a parking spot under the building upon our return. Only real downside was there wasn't an outdoor faucet or shower between the condo and the beach for rinsing off before going inside. You'd have to walk as far as the pool, which isn't ideal with a toddler. Otherwise, it was great! Enjoyed our stay.

Beach house

The house is literally right on the beach, there is a nice deck/patio set with a beautiful view of the beach. The house was BEAUTIFUL and CLEAN!! The owners were great with communication and providing things needed. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking.

Beautiful Views 😍

My best and I stayed for 5 days and had an amazing time! The condo was clean and beds were very comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed to do the minimal cooking we did. The washer/dryer was nice to have. Being beach front was amazing! There were quite a few steps up to the condo, so if you have a heavy bag it can be difficult. The neighbors were loud at times, they were young and having a good time. But nothing we couldn't handle. Overall, we had a great time in a great location!

Best View Ever

The balcony gives you a perfect unobstructed view of the beach, and you're so close to the ocean. We woke up to the sunrise over the water each morning. The condo is clean and cozy. It's also decorated very nice with comfortable couches and beds. Plus there's cable tv so you can watch live TV if you want, a nice bonus. Communication with Matt and Kyle was super. It was a wonderful stay and we can't wait to go back.

Great Beach Getaway

This property was a perfect fit for us and our 2 kids (almost 4 and 2). Literally steps from the beach and beautiful balcony views. Also, a short walk to the pier for food and drinks. Matt and Kyle were great at communicating with us through our stay to make sure everything was perfect. Great spot!

Fabulous stay!

My family, husband, 8yo and 10yo, stayed for a long weekend and what a stay! The view was AMAZING! Sun rise on the balcony with coffee, high patio chairs to see the ocean, walk out of the condo straight to the beach, clean condo, everything stocked in the kitchen, grocery store -10 mins away, tons of little restaurants, ice cream stops, cafes.... literally everything you need for a great stay!!!! This condo was perfect! Top floor is the way to go! The hosts were extremely helpful and quick to respond! Worth every penny and cant wait to stay again! You will not be disappointed with this spot!

Home away from home with a view

My review is for the second week of April 2023. I’ve stayed in Wyndham’s in North Mrytle and Sunrise Shores has a charm that you can’t find on Ocean Boulevard. The condo was clean and furnished nicely. The added touches and decor provided a peaceful and serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. The beds were comfortable and the showers had good pressure. The kitchen had plenty of kitchen related items to prepare a meal if desired. There are chairs and tables provided on the balcony to drink coffee in the morning or have a glass of wine in the evening. The beach itself was not crowded and was easily accessible. I’m grateful that Matt and Kyle open up their space so that others may experience the ocean take their troubles away. We would definitely stay at Sunrise Shores again.

Amazing views from a wonderful condo

Had the best weekend staying here! Comfortable, clean place with spectacular views of the ocean! We never got bored. Lots to great places to eat a short drive away. So happy to see the Keurig coffee machine, was perfect having our morning coffee on balcony watching the ocean. Thank you Matt and Kyle for a great visit, will definitely come back. A fabulous stay

Matt and Kyle communicated very well and were very helpful. We loved their place. We could see the sunrise from the front balcony and see it sat over the back balcony. We had easy access to the beach and were able to walk or bike everywhere we wanted to go. The condo was lovely and very comfortable.

Beautiful Condo in Perfect Location

I came down to Wilmington for a girl’s weekend with my daughter and this location was perfect. We loved the view and being able to walk right out to the beach, and it was a quick drive into Wilmington. The condo is so comfortable and homey. We loved it there!

TOTALLY BRILLIANT

The unit was totally brilliant. The VIEWS were incredible. Over looking the beach. The unit was clean, well appointed and did I mention the KING SIZE BEDS. We have never slept so well. Pillows were perfect and the sheets high thread count. Towels soft and fluffy. Every convenience. Great location. Near by restaurants and supermarkets. The owners were responsive via text. We will definitely be back. The sunsets and sun rises were epic. Soooooooooo hard to leave. THANK YOU
