Enjoy the long one-mile trail through woodland to the vintage cabin which is nestled amongst towering red and white pines on a bluff overlooking the main body of beautiful Woman Lake where you will love the breathtaking sunsets! This setting is truly what up-north living is all about! Woman Lake has been named by National Geographic as one of the Ten Most Beautiful Lakes in the World with its gorgeous scenery and pristine water alive with fish, ducks, eagles, and loons!
The cabin has a full kitchen and room to spread out during your stay. The remodeled cabin features three bedrooms and extra sleeping on the far side of the cabin next to the cozy cedar porch. The master bedroom has a queen log bed with view of the lake. The second bedroom has a bunkbed and a twin bed. The additional sleeping space also has another bunk and twin. The cabin can comfortably sleep six adults plus several children. We have added air conditioning for your comfort on those super hot summer days.
Wooden stairs take you down to the dock for swimming, boating, fishing, and sunning. On the shore is the dock with electric available and a boat lift for your use. After a long day of boating, fishing, playing or resting, there is space for sitting around a fire right on the edge of this beautiful lake.
At the beginning of the driveway is the historic Mule Lake Store, and a quick seven miles brings you into the quaint town of Longville for shopping, Frosty's ice cream cones, and the famous Wednesday Turtle Races! Or you can hop into your boat and boat to Longville via Broadwater Bay and Girl Lake. The cabin is also in close proximity to at least 15 major area lakes! It's a great place to relax, go boating and fishing, and playing water sports, or to just rest, read a book, enjoy the beautiful scenery while sipping icy sweet tea! The area towns are great places such as Longville, Hackensack, and Walker to go for wonderful shopping, antiquing, and yummy eateries.
The water at the cabin is well water that is refreshing, clean and clear. If you are a nature lover, there is room to roam and enjoy nature walks.
