Quick Get Away

Enjoyed a last minute vacay with the family at the end of the summer. Place was fantastic! Just watch out for the bears! Had a mama bear with 5 babies hanging around looking for food!

Family Weekend Getaway

My youngest grandson turned 14 two weeks prior to this mini vacation, and all 3 of my children traveled from where they live to meet and stay together in this cabin over the weekend with us. It was a wonderful trip and the cabin had every amenity to allow for family time!

Great stay!

Overall wonderful property! Very clean and as listed. Definitely recommend bringing extra towels, toilet paper, trash bags if you plan on staying for then a night or two as they do not provide a lot. Also the indoor pool was a little cold so I imagine the further into winter the colder it will be so keep that in mind if booking in winter.

Beautiful and clean!

Once you download the app required it is a breeze to get in and read all the information you need to know about your stay. Upon entering the cabin, it is beautifully decorated and clean. They give you a welcome bag with a few things as well! If planning to cook, you will need seasonings and oil but well stocked with everything else. The pool was clean and ready to go, as well as the hot tub. The cabin had plenty of towels for the pool. We had zero problems and definitely recommend this cabin!

Nice cabin

Our family of four stayed here for a long weekend and we loved it. We have two young kids and they were well entertained between the movie theater, pool, hot tub, and pool table. There is plenty of space throughout the house for larger groups of people to stay and not all be in close proximity. The cabin was clean and well stocked with the necessities for the two nights we were there. If staying longer or going with a larger group, would definitely recommend to take extra paper towels, garbage bags, and some other basic necessities. The cabin was only about 20 minutes from the Island in Pigeon Forge and not too bad of a drive. There are local shops and restaurants on the main road to the cabin. We didn't get to stop at any because we didn't have time but they looked appealing! Be prepared (especially if you're driving in the winter) that there is a really steep, windy hill to get up to the cabin. Would definitely recommend and plan on staying here again if we visit for a long weekend in the future!

Rough start but ended Great

We got to the property and the lock code wouldn't work. We had to call and get a new one and then when we go inside the pool alarm wouldn't stop going off. The fridge wasn't working the hot water wasn't working and the electric on the movie theater floor wasn't working. After waiting about 2 hours the maintenance guy finally came to fix everything. We noticed also the pool jets weren't all working and the hot water to fill the jacuzzi tub doesn't last long enough to fill it. You can't run water while someone is using water else where in the cabin because there will be no pressure. But other than all that it was nice but I don't think it's worth what we paid with all the problems we experienced

Disappointing

Overall the cabin was ok. It was nice & clean, the pool and hot tub were great! The dislikes for me outweighed the good though, simply for convenience for the price that is paid to stay in this cabin. There were only 3 washclothes provided for guests in the entire house. So we had to go buy some before the remaining guests could shower. There was only 1 trash bag provided for a 4 day rental, and 1 dishwasher pack (which im assuming is supposed to be used when checking out) You cannot control the thermastate in the house and it is rediculously hot, even for mid October. So we had to sleep with all the windows open. The fireplace in the living room does not work, and yes we watched the Utube video on the email provided to trouble shoot it. We fished a scorpion out of the pool the first day and have provided pictures for verification. The washing machine is a huge pain, its on its last leg and will just shut off in the middle of a load and you have to go through a process to try and get the water to drain out. The pool table sticks are about 24 inches long, so no adults can play pool. Lastly, we arrived 45 minutes early and called to see if we could check in early and the woman verified the cabin had been cleaned and is ready for check in, but if we wanted to check in early there would be a $25 early check in fee. For me, if im paying alot to stay somewhere for 4 days, i expect all the household essentials to be provided for a comfortable & hassle free stay.

Excellent TN Get Away!

Rustic Waters is a BEAUTIFUL cabin in a location very convenient for National Park access. We loved the combination of relaxation (hot tub, nice seating on all 3 deck levels) and entertainment (pool, pool table, theater seating) for our family with children age 4-15. The kitchen is beautiful for cooking meals at the cabin (plus charcoal grill). The location in the trees has a nice get away feel (vs. the more concrete-everywhere cabin communities), yet it is so convenient to Townsend and SMNP. This cabin is well decorated, open, inviting....and CLEAN!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
