☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆
The Highland Cow room (first floor) and features a king bed, workspace nook, ceiling fan and 43" TV with Roku (bring your sign ins) and a Blu-ray/DVD player.

The Goat Room has a large queen bed, a dresser, closet, and ceiling fan.

The Sheep Room is outfitted with a bunk bed (double mattress on the bottom and a twin up top), and a closet with a dresser.

The Horse Room offers a cozy queen bed, lovely workspace, closet, storage cubbies, and ceiling fan. Plus, a portable crib (Pack 'n plan)!

☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆
The first floor bathroom is equipped with a shower and double vanity. The second-floor bathroom features a tub/shower combo. Each bathroom is equipped with plush towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, make up remover rags and a hair dryer. Oh, and of course TP!

☆☆ KITCHEN + DINING ROOM ☆☆
The kitchen is well-equipped and boasts high-end modern appliances and a large sink.

The dining area can seat up to eight. In the corner you'll find the coffee bar equipped for K cups as well as a Carafe Brewer for the group (or yourself if it is one of those days). You'll also find a French press, and there is a tea kettle in the kitchen if you need it. We do provide creme, sugar, and a few coffee and tea options.

☆☆ LIVING ROOM ☆☆
The cozy living room invites you to relax together. Chat, read, play a board game, assemble a puzzle, or put on a movie. There is a 55" flat-screen Roku TV (bring your sign ins) and a Blu-ray/DVD player w/ a selection of 50 DVD/BD's for all ages and tastes. Maybe you'll discover a blast from your past ;o)

☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆
Enjoy the great outdoors. Chill by the fire pit, play a game of ladder-ball, take a dip in the hot tub or relax on the patio while the kiddos enjoy the slide/swing. Stop by Tomato Firewood is not supplied, so we recommend stopping by Tomato House Farms to pick up firewood and visit the butcher for your BBQ needs.

You will have private access to the entire farmhouse and outdoor areas during your stay.

We offer easy self-check-in and there is plenty of space for up to four vehicles.

We are tucked away in the woods (otherwise we couldn't call ourselves a Hideaway ;o) For your last stretch (approx. 1 mile) the road narrows and then gives way to a maintained gravel/dirt. Don't worry, 4WD is not required and this road is regularly traveled by compact cars, delivery trucks, and minivans (like us ;o). You'll be able to claim the true country experience as you traverse the last 1/3 mile. Take it slow and you'll have limited bumps. Consider any bumps you do feel a "country massage". Once you arrive at your hideaway, we think you'll love the seclusion it offers.

We do have security cameras that monitor the exterior of the property.

This neighborhood is approx. 1 mile off the main road and hidden amongst the lush green trees of the foothills. Locals enjoy their rural life surrounded by nature and the peace and tranquility that comes with it. Rivers and creeks meander through the forest. Within a 15 mile radius is Dahlonega Square, a popular spot for food, shopping, and history. You'll also find the University of North Georgia, Consolidated Gold Mine, Zoo and Wildlife Park, Horseback Riding, Yahoola Creek Park and Reservoir - and some of your standards like Starbucks and Walmart. Tomato House Farms is a great local spot for Produce, Deli, & Butcher. Also good spots nearby for U-pick it farms and wineries.

Amazing place.
The owners were amazing. We had problems with the power with a tree down and they were amazing and very prompt to let me know what was going on. The house is decorated and so perfect for a bunch of friends to get together. We all love the house so much We all wished we had a House just like it. I would definitely rent from them again if we are in the Dahlonega area.

We are Sydney and Michael! We enjoy exploring new places if we can convince ourselves to not keep going back to our favorites...we're looking at you Alaska, Disney World and Hawaii! We have 3 boys a cat and some chickens to round out our family ;o)

Why they chose this property

This property is adorable and secluded in nature which adds to its charm. A great balance of cuteness inside and fun outdoors, like a fire pit, hot tub, bbq and outdoor games

What makes this property unique

Just about everywhere you look is NATURE! Yet it is close to downtown Dahlonega, central to wineries and so many other adventures - one of our favorites is Helen but it's in a race with all the amazing hikes and beauty the Georgia mountains have to offer!
