Spent 2 nights here. Quiet neighborhood and very relaxing. Beautifully decorated with lots of nice touches. It may have a lovely view of the lake in the winter, but not in the summer time.
east of the hluse
Recently visited with my husband and toddler. The owner was quick to respond. The house was nicely decorated/updated, but not baby proof (which is okay, just calling it out for others). The “2nd bedroom” wasn’t really a bedroom; it was the entry way into the house (it did not have a door or blinds in some areas - so it was pretty bright in the mornings with the sun rising). There wasn’t much to do in the area; we had to travel about 25mins to visit the zoo and children’s museum.
Clean and spacious, nice decor and the hydrangeas have vivid color! Wonderful place to relax, with great access to all your favorite things in North East.
The house was as listed and very nice and clean. The owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful with explaining the check-in process. We had a great stay.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Hydrangea house. The space is so cute and the details are really impressive. We stopped by their coffee shop and the brew is just as good! Tamara was so accomodating, I wound up blowing a tire and she was so gracious about extending check out and even asked if I needed help. I think the only negatives were that there weren't coverings on any of the doors which are glass-paned and are directly in some sleeping areas (not the primary bedroom) so it feels a little exposed. But if thats not a huge problem for you its a wondeful stay and I highly recommend!
This location is perfect for a weekend away to go wine tasting!! Not far from wineries going any direction and a short drive to town without feeling like you’re in town. Good coffee, but be sure to pack any creamer or sugar needed!! (Sad that wasn’t included)
Lake view is looking across the street through the neighbors yard unless their boat is there then not really a view but was to cold when we went to sit outside anyway.
The property was very nice. The house fit our needs and the host provided everything we could think of from dishes to entertainment. The only complaints are the size of the master bed being smaller than a queen and the “second bedroom” is in the foyer at the front of the house where lights from cars and the house’s motion lights illuminate the room. Overall we had a wonderful time, the water was very close and the location was perfect for our needs.
What a beautiful home in a quiet, gorgeous neighborhood with a 5 minute walk to the lake! We'll definitely be back!
The home itself was perfect for 2 people and everything in the home (especially the courtesy coffee!) was flavored with love. To be completely honest, when looking online, I was sold when I read the Decor wall! ❤️
Property was very well maintained and descriptions was accurate. Sleeping 5 people total was doable, but not the most comfortable. Only negative thing is that there seemed to be a ton of rules and cleanup involved.
The house was well-appointed and pleasant, but there were not two bedrooms, as the second bedroom was in the foyer by the entrance and had no privacy from within and from outside.
