Showcasing sweeping tree-top views, this four-bedroom home boasts an elegant interior and two covered decks fully appointed for outdoor living complete with a private hot tub, gas grill, al fresco dining, and a furnished living area anchored by a wood-burning fireplace and mounted smart TV. Just minutes from downtown Elijay, enjoy central access to local dining, vineyards, and distilleries, plus an abundance of year-round outdoor recreation.

The perfect choice for a group getaway, the home features a spacious, two-story interior designed for modern guest comfort and entertainment. Highlighted by soaring cathedral ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows offering natural lighting and views, the Great Room is ideal for fireside gatherings and family movie nights on the smart TV. The deluxe kitchen features an array of chef's grade stainless steel appliances to spark culinary inspiration including a gas range and dual ovens. A dishwasher makes for easy cleanup. There's breakfast bar seating for four and full meals can be enjoyed in the dining room.

At-home entertainment continues downstairs in the lower living area feature with another smart TV, plus air hockey and shuffleboard for some friendly competition. A handy kitchenette comes equipped with a full-size fridge, sink, and microwave for added convenience. The terrace deck offers a rowing machine and corn hole for some more active fun. Take in the views on the lower deck or try your hand at the golf tee-toss game before hopping in the hot tub to wind down for the evening. Each bedroom features its own TV for winding down privately.

Slice of Heaven

The Birchwood Lodge is conveniently located about halfway between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Perfect location close to many things. The home is beautiful, cozy and has everything you could ever need for a perfect getaway. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Perfect weekend

A great relaxing weekend in the mountains. The view breathtaking. The outdoor eating space and fireplace was by far the best hang out for friends. The home is well equipped for any cooking needs way above our expectations. The home is beautiful definitely want to return and you can't go wrong with this home.

Birchwood Lodge, New Favorite Getaway!

We love Birchwood Lodge. I have visited both with family and also on a girls trip. This mountain home is beautiful, spacious, and has spectacular views. The two porches are huge. Uptop there is an outdoor fireplace and cozy seating. There is a dining area and a built in grill station. The lower deck has a hot tub (which is clean and well maintained😊), a full size pool table, corm hole and more. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms are huge, the in house luxury, comfort, and activities are above and beyond. I am the Shuffleboard Champ. Most of all this is a place designed for togetherness with people you love -I can say this with 100% confidence. I have visited twice, once with three generations of family and again with girlfriends whooping it up. Birchwood was perfect for both. As for activities nearby, there is everything!!!! Ellijay has the cutest town square with great restaurants and stores from antiques to upscale. I floated down the Cartecay River which is minutes away. There is horseback riding which has just opened down the hill from the lodge. I loved it!!! Blue Ridge is nearby as well. Great town, lots to see and do along with an eclectic array of shops and wonderful dining. I went axe throwing last trip. And it goes without saying, the hiking in these areas is endless and amazing. You can choose from challenging trails to ones appropriate for your 86yr old grandpa. Birchwood Lodge is a wonderful vacation home in a prime location. I highly recommend. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pretty good stay

The house is great and we had an amazing time, but there are a few small things I would suggest changing. There were no blinds on the door to the porch off the master bedroom and that was very awkward to wake up to our friends sitting outside our door drinking coffee in the morning with us in plain sight laying in bed. Some more privacy for that room would be good. Also, more specific directions to the house once you get off the highway would be super helpful. We had a hard time finding the right driveway initially. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and we loved that each room was equivalent to a master bedroom so we all felt equally cozy.

BEST RENTAL IN MOUNTAINS OF ELLIJAH

This was the best mountain rental I have ever stayed. The home is beautiful overlooking the mountains - outdoor fireplace and sitting area on the balcony is stunning. Hot tub also was nice on a cold night. Can’t wait to go back!

Stunningly beautiful with tremendous hosts!

What an INCREDIBLE spot for your next mountain retreat. It was both spacious yet cozy and provided comfortable accommodations for my whole family. This lovely lodge has wonderful sunsets that we enjoyed from the massive upper deck with the grill/table/fireplace. The lower deck with the hot tub was also appreciated greatly. The hosts made everything so welcoming and were responsive and thoughtful throughout the whole effort. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

This is a 6 star property…. Amazing

Everything at the Birchwood Lodge was first class. It was an amazing getaway for my wife and our friends. From the fireplaces to the bedrooms and kitchen, everything is first class. We enjoyed time on the decks enjoying the sunsets and sunrises. It is very quiet and secluded. It is decorated as if someone lives there full time, we felt like we were in a home not a rental. It was worth every penny and then some… we are already planning our return back to the Birchwood Lodge.

Beautiful cabin and wonderful view

Cabin was beautifully furnished. Kitchen had everything needed to cook any meals. My only suggestion - please check the electrical oulets in the downstairs bedroom closest to the hot tub (none worked, including for the air hockey table)

The property was perfect. The managment company was not.

The HVAC was not working when we arrived and we reported it to the management company within an hour of check in. In spite of repeated promises about arrival of a service technition, it was 26 hours later when the HVAC person said the unit could not be fixed. The management company let us and the property owners down massively.
