"My Happy Place" at Lake Barkley is a great opportunity to getaway with that special someone for a little rest and relaxation. Enjoy the lake views, hot tub, or the quite time together sitting on the deck. You could also cook that romantic meal that you have been meaning to prepare. While at "My Happy Place" you can also explore all the great things to do in the LBL area; hiking, boating, golfing, and great restaurants. Please be aware this is a 600 square feet, one bedroom cottage and it is connected to a second unit that has a separate entrance. The hot tub is exclusively used by guests in "My Happy Place."

NO BOAT DOCK at this home. (Mineral Mound State Park boat ramp and Kuttawa Marina are close.)

Wonderful place

The apartment was beautifully and felt like home. I would most definitely stay agian. The only downside is the water in the hottub smells like it's Molded and needs a good clean out.

The property is a very intimate setting. All rooms are in close proximity to each other. The hot tub and deck area was great. If you are planning a romantic getaway with just you and your significant other, this is the place.

Sweet little cottage.

Loved the sweet little cottage like place by the lake. Very clean. Nice and neat place to stay. Very nice owner! Loved the robes. We did have a hard time getting the hot tub settings to go down on the temp. And the WiFi wasn’t the best. But, over all we loved this place. You won’t go wrong by staying here. I’d like to come back! Thanks for having us, Robert.

Great Short Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very nice and just the right size for my husband and I. Even though there were houses between is and the lake the views from the balcony were nice. We spent late evenings and mornings on the deck. Would stay there again.

Lake Vacation

Our stay was nice. We had a slight hiccup with check-in, nothing in anyone’s control and owners were super quick to respond and get us in. There were internet issues in the area, again out of anyone’s control and the owner was so great to reach out and attempt to get updates for us. Very much appreciated that! I would highly recommend this property and using any of their other properties! You cannot beat their customer service and caring!
