Amazing time in IOP

We enjoyed this home and all the amenities. The large spaces inside were great for family time and the pool and outdoor sitting area with the fireplace and tv allowed us to enjoy lots of fun while watching ball games and relaxing all at the same time. The close walk (3-5 minutes) to the beach was awesome as we did that every day. A beautiful home and a great community to spend time in. So fun.

Ok, but…

The location was great and the management team was most responsive. Their efforts were greatly appreciated! That said, the property itself is a bit tired. The furniture by the fireplace outdoors was very dirty/soiled. The television over the exterior fireplace was broken. The refrigerator in the space over the garage did not work and during our stay the central AC on the in-law suite died and had to be replaced ! The Management Team , to their credit, was able to get two window units in place within hours. With landscapers arriving at 8 AM on one day it was a With landscapers arriving at 8 AM on one day. It was an early time to wake up while on vacation. Beyond that, a plumber had to come on site to repair the faulty shower faucet. The pool could also use some updating. The patio pavers surrounding the pool were uneven and I actually tripped over one! The pool itself is in need of upgrades. The pH level , I suspect, hasn’t been well taken care of because of all of the white calcium marks on the pool surface. The filter basket cover is also broken and the drain in the pool looked pretty beat up. The furniture in the living room also had a number of stains and was tired. Overall, this is a typical vacation rental property. However, for the price, and only as a recommendation, I would suggest the owners spend a bit more time and money keeping the property up-to-date.

“Bea” Back Soon to Bea’s Nest!

Sadly our trip cut a little short due to Tropical Storm Debby, but look forward to coming back for a longer stay! Property manager was very responsive and reasonable.
