Come stay at our Little Blue cottage on Arbutus Lake - cozy & relaxing

About 7 miles south of Traverse City just off Garfield Road. We are north of Kingsley, on the south end of Arbutus Lake.

This property has many comforts of home and accommodates 4 people comfortably. The lake property has 400 ft. of private beach for the resort with a sandy bottom, a swim raft and buoys, seven 30-ft docks, new deck surrounding the boat house, children's playground, basketball, horseshoes, barbecue gas grill and fire pits.

If you are boating and/or fishing, the resort features a screened-in fish-cleaning house with running water and a boat launch.

This is also a great location if you are planning to take a fall color tour so don't limit yourself just to summer!

Small pets are considered and renters are asked to clean up after them. This property is not handicap accessible.

The heated vacation cottage has a newer interior, fully stocked kitchen with microwave, dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker and toaster. There are 2 queen-sized beds.

The resort and cottage is secluded and quiet, located on wooded Arbutus Lake. Water recreation includes swimming, trophy fishing (small and large mouth bass, blue gill, perch, and pike), boating and water-skiing. Nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding and plenty of shopping.

Clean Cottage Very Close to Lake

Delightful

This cozy, immaculate cottage with bright beach vibes was wonderful! Beds and pillows very comfortable, appreciated the room darkening blinds for sleeping in. Neighborhood quiet, great to have kayaks to use. Shower small but we managed. Will definitely stay again!

Nice place!

Nice, cozy cottage as advertised. Dog friendly. Located directly across from beach and lake. Nice neighborhood. Very clean and welcoming in arrival! I enjoyed my relaxing week stay and the cottage had everything I needed.

Cute and cozy cottage

Our family stayed for an October wedding weekend and couldn't have been more pleased. The cottage was very clean and appeared just as described. The access to the kayaks and rowboat were a plus, and the neighbors were friendly and accepting. We enjoyed the 3 seasons room off the front of the cottage to watch the beautiful sunrises and the serenity of the lake. Communication with the owners was easy and all questions were answered promptly. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful view/access to lake - cozy cottage

Really loved being right on the lake - the screened-in porch was a perfect spot to enjoy the view from inside; the picnic table and outside chairs were enjoyable outside. The cottage is compact, but has good, usable kitchen space well-supplied to cook and eat-in. All rooms were immaculately clean with comfortable furniture. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms were key in keeping the air moving, as we happened to be there during a spell of unusually hot weather. The location is very convenient - Traverse City is only 12-15 minutes away - close enough to shop, dine or otherwise enjoy city-life - but far enough away that you really have a sense of peace and quiet at the lake.

Cottage had almost everything we were looking for. I would have given you 5 stars but you really need to look into buying a window air conditioner. I know you have no control over the weather but we were unbearably uncomfortable especially at night trying to sleep. And the fans only in the bedroom just didn’t cut it. Even with the fans going and windows open there was no cross wind. Sorry to complain because everything else was so good. Very neat and clean. Lovely view of the lake from screened in porch.

Family weekend getaway

The property was mostly good nice location and beach looked like it would have been nice in the summer. We had a little trouble sleeping the pillows were flat as pancakes. Also one of the beds was quite hard I think with a new mattress and pillows it would have been 4 stars for us good night sleep is pretty important. Also heat worked but bedroom with AC unit never seemed to warm up! All the dishes and other items of the rental were great! Thank you!

Clean attractive accommodations in peaceful setting.

Kitchen well equipped. Ate several of our meals there. Enjoyed using the resort-owned kayaks. Grandchildren visited one day and we hosted another couple for dinner another evening. Resort could use better signage as to which water craft are available for guests' use. No laundry facilities on property. Yes, we would certainly return to this lovely lake cottage!

Great Property

This was a great property for our family. We were able to make the drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes during the day, and return to the comfortable cottage for some evening relaxation. The kids loved the kayaks, the dog was obsessed with playing fetch in the lake, and the grown-ups just enjoyed the beautiful lake views. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to make happy new memories.

First impression was very clean cottage, small but had everything you need! Waking up to lake views was very nice. Enclosed porch was a bonus & had a nice breeze! Not too far from downtown TC. We loved our stay & hope to come back next summer.

Nice, clean, adequately meets our needs!

We love staying in Scott & Crystals cabin. It’s very nice and well kept. We have stayed here at least six times and love to see the new touches they add each year. They try to think of everything you would need while staying there. I like how close we are to the beach, the boathouse, the docks for our boats and the fish house.

Very nice cabin and the area is beautiful

The cabin is really nice and I loved the enclosed porch. It is really close to the beach and boat dock. It is nice having the outside area with the fire pit also. I hope to come back very soon.

Our stay was even better than we had anticipated. We have rented several cottages on Arbutus Lake. All of them have been good but this one was the best. It is well equipped, well maintained and all of the furniture is comfortable. In addition, the view from the porch is outstanding.

We always enjoy staying at Scott & Crystals cabin!

The cabin was very nice and clean. We always enjoy noticing the little things they add each year. This year a magnetic rack to hold your dish towel, a little basket to keep the lids for the leftover dishes, and a 3 dimensional Michigan picture on the wall. We enjoy grilling a lot and used the rest of the gas in our tank and the other one was empty. I hated leaving it like that for the next person but my husband ended up in ER Friday with kidney stones. We will definitely rebook for next year.

Our family loves this place! It's welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing!

Our family has been staying at this cottage now for the past 5 years continuing the family tradition. As soon as the annual trip is over we are already looking to book for the next year. My wife has been coming to Pineview Resort annually since she was a baby. This cottage is an accommodating, comfortable, relaxing place to stay. We have never had any issues with our reservations and the owners are great! Screened in front porch, wifi, cable, fire pit, grill, and the cottage is always clean upon arrival. Being right across from the beach makes it an ideal spot for the kids and family. Really can't say enough good things about this place! Looking forward to our trip next year!

Great location, clean, and updated

We had an amazing experience both with the owners and the property itself, right on the beach which was great for our kids, nice resort with small playground and rowboat. Great location just 10 minutes from downtown Traverse City. The only thing I think I could say at all about this property is possibly a little larger of a couch for the living room, but overall a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back, thank you so much!

Great cottage for a family vacation

Great location, great property. We loved the beach across the street and how quick it was to get to lake Michigan. The property was clean and cozy. We enjoyed motoring around the chain of 5 lakes, swimming and taking walks in the quiet neighborhood.

Exactly what we were looking for!

Not too far from downtown and great view. We came up for fall colors so or stay at the cabin was basically to shower, sleep and eat. Three things we wished we would have brought-hand towels and salt and pepper! This is a pet friendly place and I am allergic to dogs. The sofa could have been cleaned better as I was not able to sit on it from the dog hair trapped behind it. But I can see how that can be missed, I have furr babies myself. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Quiet and Relaxing, but close to T.C.

We had a great stay at the cottage! It was a very nice and clean property, perfect for a family of 4 such as ourselves. We really enjoyed having coffee on the sun porch in the mornings while the kids watched TV inside. Thanks again!
