A great location for a family getaway

We had a few issues but the management team was wonderful to work with to fix them.

A wonderful family vacation in Pensacola

We had a great time. The house layout was perfect for our family gathering. The seating and swings on both decks and front porch were enjoyed by all of us, as well as the outdoor grill. There were a couple of small issues but the property management came right away to take care of them. We did have a little trouble figuring out the t.v., but our technically savvy young family members were able to figure out how to get the Cardinal games.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the sun rise and sunt set everyday and the home was large enough for everyone, kitchen was stocked with everything you needed, company quick to fix any problems we had. I will say the dishwasher did not dry the dishes and would have helped to have a walk-in shower downstairs to improve my elderly parents safety

Beautiful well appointed home in a great location.

We really enjoyed the location and the convenience of where the home was located. We were close to beach access plus lots of shopping and good food. The home was beautifully decorated and kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy meals with our large group. The rental company was quick to address the issues we had with the AC and seemed genuinely interested in hearing our additional feedback. The outdoor living space was the perfect place to hang out and visit or enjoy a quiet moment.

Plenty of room

We stayed at this property for 5 days during Spring Break. The check in process was simple and easy. The property was very spacious. We had 5 people and everyone enjoyed this house. We were able to walk to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and the house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

There was an issue with the lights/fan in the master and they were very quick to get it fixed. We wish the towels and bedding were nicer quality. All in all, it was a very nice home.

Positives: excellent mixture of vintage and modern decor, comfy master bedroom, open floor plan, pets allowed, fenced back yard, semi-quite street, excellent neighbor on the right Negatives: air conditioning has (repairman added Freon but did not repair the leak) a leak - required Freon, lawn was completely overgrown and contained “stick tights” - a nightmare on our pets fur and personal blankets, a haul to the beach with littles, rental next door has a pool and the renters were loud

Beach vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family & I enjoyed our stay at Ensenada Dos 1776. The house was clean & decorated tastefully. We liked the open floor plan & the bedrooms were roomy & it was great spending outside time on the nice porches. The gulf side beach was less than a 10 minute walk & the beach there was not overly crowded—perfect spot. We weren’t sure how to access the sound since it looked like the accesses near us were private property. We missed having beach towels provided. Towels are bulky to pack & it’s an inconvenience to go out & buy them. We were instructed not to take the towels in the house to the beach. Also, it would have been nice to have a pantry space in the kitchen for the food we brought in. All the cupboards were full of dishes & other spaces were locked up. There was a coffee pot provided but no filters. It would have been helpful if we would have known what kind of coffee filters to bring. The staff where we checked in were courteous & helpful.

Ensenada Dos Vacation August 2022

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay was pleasant. The home is beautifully decorated/gives the feeling of home on entering the front door! The beds were comfortable;LR had enough seating for our large family. Fenced yard was great for pets, outdoor hose/shower were very handy when returning from the beach. The laundry room was amazing!A few areas need attention though. Kitchen - RFgas burner doesn’t function bc knob is broken. No cutting board found. Water leaking from ceiling light above stove. A/C - temp set to 78* so at checkin it was HOT and very difficult to get to a comfortable level. We had to call maintenance bc it was so miserable. My elderly parents slept in main level BR and were uncomfortable bc of the heat. Purchased fan to help cool room. A/C temp Pre set to 78* so my dad was AC Thermostat Guard while we were at beach. Upstairs A/C no issues. Lawn/Backyard - Very thankful for fenced area for puppy but grass needed mowing. Grass was high and puppy repeatedly had sticky pods on to her legs and feet. Also pet “deposits” from previous renters were still in yard.Bathrooms - mold/dark spots on shower tiles. Lights/Fans - instructions on how to use smart house features! To use fans and lights. Never figured out top deck lighting or tv. Cleanliness - there were pet hairs throughout. Short blackish hair found on mattresses, blankets, bed coverings, pillows etc. Questioned if MBR sheets were clean due to hair! Library mattress pad for sofa bed needs cleaning bc of hair. And my son said the sofa bed was not comfortable at all. Uneven leveling obvious when looking at from sides. TV - no cable. Should be listed. Not everyone in our family has Netflix, Hulu, etc. so we used our account in all TV rooms and remember to log out before we left. Check in at 5pm is late especially when check out is at 10am. Again, overall a very pleasant stay. Since we had a new golden retriever puppy we needed a pet friendly
