About this property

New Remodel Mt. Hood Cabin style home 5/2 Hot tub, game room, 2400 sq ft home.

Lodge feel but with all the amenities you have been looking for...newly remodeled 5 bedroom 2 bath 2400 sq ft home with separate living spaces so kids can be kids in the game room with pool, foosball, air hockey, 55 inch TV, arcade game with 30,000 video games, and an Alexa, and adults can adult in the main house. Large fenced back yard (pet friendly) that has a super relaxing feel with covered hot tub for 6, gazebo with outdoor furniture, deck, or by the fire pit, while sitting and listening to the babbling water feature.
In the Timberline Rim neighborhood with swimming pool, community center, tennis courts, basketball courts, and Sandy River access. We are located about a 7 minute drive to Mt. Hood Village and 20 minutes to Government Camp.
There are miles of walking trails and golf nearby for the Spring/Summer/Fall and endless fun times in the snow in the winter.

Uneven stay
3 coffee makers but no wineglasses. Plenty of towels but no soap or shampoo in the showers. The water feature outside was not working. Blinds in living room were broken and could not be adjusted. Communication with host was late in coming so frustrating. He called asking if fire alarms were on one might but they were not. Very strange! Also the gamjng condole was not working.

Nice Mountain Getaway!
We loved that this place had enough rooms and beds for everyone. The hot tub was amazing. Game room was fun. There wasn’t much in the way of supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. so you need to bring extra if you want more than one. There were minor issues that we didn’t need or pay attention to like screen off window, closet door off track, and screen door off patio bedroom side, but these didn’t take away from the stay as we didn’t use them. Communication with host was great and responsive. No cell service for most of the stay, which can be great in a way. Lol we would stay again.

Family Birthday
Nice home set up for visitors, lots of TVs in room, a game room, cozy wood stove and a Jacuzzi. Best of all for a family get together, there was plenty of off street parking.

Christmas Cabin 2023
Host was very responsive to texts and emails. He helped me with a few issues and questions. Vrbo description listed fenced back yard, yard was mostly fenced and had a zip line type thing for one dog. House was generally clean, upstairs large bedroom had some garbage under bed and upstairs bathroom smelled faintly of urine. I felt like i had to rewash kitchen dishes, flatware, and pots/pans as there was fingerprints and some oil film. not sure if the dishes were put away from the dishwasher dirty? Hot tub was super clean and nice! Plenty of room for all our family and friends to visit and play board games. Wish there was more lighting in the main area. Had mostly what we needed in the kitchen - loved the waffle maker! There were no wine glasses but we made do. Note to future guests: 2 bedrooms on the main floor. 1 with king bed and 1 with queen. Queen bedroom also has a recliner chair. Large bathroom on main floor with super nice washer and dryer. Upstairs has large bedroom with queen bed and sitting area. Second bedroom upstairs has two twin beds on the floor (perfect for littles) and a fun toddler table/chairs. 5th bedroom is in the remodeled garage with 2 queen/twin beds, has a door to separate from the gaming space. Those that stay in the this room has to come into the house to use the bathroom. The gaming space has a futon.

My Hood Family Reunion
This was a perfect house/location for our family reunion! Location perfect and quiet! We did a couple of day excursions to Timberline Lodge and wineries!

My family stayed at this property this summer and loved it! The home had a lot of extra kitchen amenities (I loved the double waffle maker)! My kids loved the game room and separate living space. I highly recommend staying here!

More than disappointed, horrible experience with host communication
Some notes about the house: -It is not a fully fenced yard suitable for dogs. - in the lower queen bedrooms, there is not a screen on one of the windows and the screen for the sliding door was off the track when we arrived. Also the blinds for the slider are broken and hard to use. There was a bottle of KY jelly left in the night stand, awkward and weird to find. The smoke detector was blaring and shining at 3am, we took it down. -in the front living room, the blinds do not go up, after i called the host when he would not respond to messages, he mentioned they are rechargeable, we could not find the charger. -the king bedroom needs new light bulbs -in the garage and game room there are no face plates on outlets, and no window screens. The bed was broken (fell through the bed frame when my 40lb neice sat on it). My brother had to fix it. We were very disappointed that the highlights and main reasons we picked this house were unavailable without being told prior to arriving. Access to the community pool and use of the hot tub were important for our family and it was more than a bummer to not get to do so from lack of communication and attention. I had to call the host because he was not responding to messages, he told me that he would get us access to the pool as soon as possible, yet we never heard from him again. The hot tub was cold, he said to hit the buttons harder. That did nothing. We paid the cost of the listing for what was listed and felt deceived.

Family time!
We truly enjoyed the time spent with our family in this home. We especially enjoyed the game room, talking and laughing around the fire pit and spending time in the kitchen/living room. Location was great!
Location was great. Was super clean and lots of room. If you have a large group then I would recommend bringing extra paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags if you plan on eating most meals in. Loved the ping pong and the sectional was great for our large group and kitchen had everything needed. We couldn't figure out the video games but the ping pong was great.

Seamless, comfy, fun
The photos of this property do not do it justice. It is much more spacious and cozy than I expected. More than enough space for me and 7 friends. Very comfortable beds, lots of blankets, lots of games, TVs, more than enough cookware, they even had a pack and play which my friend used for her 2 year old. The owners responded right away when we complained about our coffee maker not working, they provided us with a new one and we were super happy! We came to go snowboarding and did not spend too much time at the cabin, but we enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit outside. It was a great deal and we have zero complaints!

So much fun!!
The house is updated, has tons of space and is very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. Hot tub is perfect and works great. You cannot beat this location either...easy to get to MT Hood, Ski Bowl and play in the snow. You will not be disappointed

Nice property. Loved the game room and hot tub. Hot tub could of used a good clean and shock for sure! Overall Very comfy and cozy living space for the whole family. Check out instructions would of been helpful left on counter and the Roomba could be scheduled at a better time for cleaning. Woke up a few family member at 2am banging on the bedroom door.

Great house for 2 families. The game room was a definite plus for this house. Great place for kids to get away and let off steam and be loud! Neighborhood was good to get out and great location for restraunts and quick to trip to the Mountain.

Perfect Stay
This property has it all! Brought our teenage son and his friends up to ski bowl and this home was the perfect landing spot! Beautiful game room, hot tub, Starlink and tvs galore this is the perfect place if you are traveling with kids! Communication was great and the home was just beautiful! We will definitely be back!!

Best Vacation Rental
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful, newly renovated property. To be honest, at first I was hesitant to book this house because it didn't have any prior reviews - and we all know how that can go. However, I noticed that John has other well reviewed properties under his management so I decided to book and was not disappointed! The beds were all incredibly comfortable, the linens were AMAZING, the kitchen was well stocked and we loved having access to the hot tub and wood-burning fire-pit. So cozy!! Truly all the comforts of home were provided. Beyond the property itself, which was perfect, the neighborhood had beautiful walking paths and was a wonderful place to decompress for my 30th birthday. John went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We really appreciated his communication and accommodation. 10/10 would recommend!

New Remodel 11/22, 5 bedrooms, 3 separate areas to visit with each other after a day of hiking or playing in the snow. Close to Government Camp for the winter events(20 minutes), 7 minutes to Mt.Hood Village, 20 minutes to Sandy. This is a peaceful setting, yet close to all the activities.
