Through the lush garden you'll find our sweet little studio located in the heart of all of the North Park & South Park action. Walking distance to unique boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, and even Balboa Park! Take a quick 17 minute drive over to the beach or grab a bottle of wine from Rose Wine Bar & head to Sunset Cliffs to catch a famous San Diego sunset... you really can't go wrong here!

South Park is a charming residential area with popular neighborhood restaurants that range from innovative vegan food to upmarket Italian eats. Tree-lined Fern and 30th streets, the main thoroughfares, are also home to indie boutiques and cafes, while nearby Grape Street Dog Park has views over the downtown skyline. The adjacent Golden Hill area is known for its classic bungalow homes and artisanal coffee bars.
Electrical in this studio is a bit backwards. The switch for the overhead light is on the same wall as the TV, but closer to kitchen counter.

Switch for the lights over the bed is to the left of the bed.

Should you run into issues with the Roku TV, first check to see if the remote needs batteries. There are new batteries in the drawer to the right of the entry door. If the remote is not connecting to the tv, it may need to be re-synced to the TV. To do this, you press the little black button located underneath the batteries of the remote. This is underneath the battery cover!

**Please do not put coffee grinds or eggshells down the garbage disposal**

Medical conference trip

The apartment is a two-story house split into two different rooms. It was behind the main house and bordered with a well-landscaped area of shrubbery that kept the noise from the street away from the room. The interior was nice and cozy with nice accents. I felt the atmosphere was quite peaceful, and I had a very restful stay.

Spacious and very comfortable studio with all amenities in a quiet and lovely area. The host was very attentive and checked in every few days. I especially enjoyed walking to the local bookshop a few minutes away. I would stay here again.

A Wonderful Experience

The property was just as amazing. Beautiful garden entrance into a secluded patio was just what I needed. Located just east of Balboa Park the neighborhood has small restaurants and stores mixed in among great southern California homes. The bed was so comfortable, sleeping in was a daily event. Loved it!

Comfy studio in Southpark

Studio was perfectly located in Southpark area...walkable to great coffee cafes, restaurants and unique shops. Host quickly responded to our questions/requests during our stay. Check-in/check-out was very easy with keyless entry.Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our weekend staying at this property! The apartment is very nice, as pictured, and in a great location. Host gave clear instructions for check in/check out. Street parking was pretty full, but we always were able to find a spot on the same block.

Anniversary Trip

A fantastic place for two to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. Quiet neighborhood with several restaurants in walking distance and a short drive to Balboa park. The room was super clean, well stocked, and the bed was comfy. I would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect except for the loud neighbors

This place is adorable and was exceptionally clean. The only problem was the upstairs neighbors were so noisy. They had a child who cried on and off at night and woke up before 6 am and began to run and jump. Hopefully when you stay here the renters upstairs won’t have an active, loud child!

Weekend trip

The property is in an excellent part of San Diego. It’s within 15 mins of places like the zoo, SeaWorld, and the USS Midway. The neighborhood is excellent and there are some amazing restaurants just right down the street. Try Il Posto for authentic Italian.

Charming South Park Abode

We chose this unit because we wanted to stay in a walkable neighborhood from which to explore all that San Diego has to offer. This place definitely delivered! The studio and surrounding area look exactly as pictured. The ability to walk out the door to get coffee, food, or even make a run to Target was a big plus. Loved having the sliding glass divider if one of us wanted to watch TV and the other did not. The host was super responsive and made the entire experience a seamless one. We are already looking at dates for a 2025 return! Highly Recommend!

Beautiful Studio Apartment in Great Neighborhood

This rental is lovely, clean, and highly functional. This is the first studio apartment I've seen with a divider that can be used to hide the bed for privacy! The host was responsive, and helpful. The neighborhood (South Park) is one of our favorites. (Be sure to eat at Matteo's, just down the street!)

Gold Medal

Laura, the host, and the Junipera Studio Unit A earned their second gold medals from my wife and I. We first stayed here earlier in the year and our most recent visit coincided with the final weekend of the Paris Olympics, thus we awarded second gold medals. The location was perfect as we attended a concert this time at a nearby theater. There are a number of excellent restaurants within walking distance and downtown is only a 10-12 minute drive away. Unit A is most comfortable and well stocked for 2 people. Laura responds promptly to any queries we might have and she’s most accommodating. The filter in the Brita pitcher in the refrigerator was showing “0% remaining-replace promptly.” We sent Laura a message and she had a replacement filter delivered by the end of the day. That why we believe Laura and her accommodation earned gold medals. We’re from Los Angeles and hope to be able to stay here again in the near future.
