I was here for business. The home was clean, and just as the listing stated. I wiouldnt mind staying here again in the future. My only gripe would be that the hot water runs out in minutes, Dont try and take a long shower. If you can get over that, the place is great for one person.
We enjoyed our stay. Perfect for my wife and me while we were in town for state marching band competition. I appreciated the good communication and flexibility of the reservation. Thank you!
Very good stay was a little worried about the neighborhood but overall it was safe when we were there, next door tv or something was on late night and morning like it was left on or something but we loved it small but cute.
It was a wonderful centerpoint to get around San Antonio and the surrounding area. We traveled with a small dog so the yard was nice for her. We very much enjoyed walking the outskirts of the riverwalk which was just 1.2 miles away. Train is close but didn’t really bother us. Neighbors were all very friendly. Nice street. Transitional neighborhood but we felt very safe.
Carisa & Javier were the greatest host for our first VRBO stay. I can't say enough of how wonderful they are & how helpful they were for making my surprise for my boyfriend so amazing. We had the best time in San Antonio & we plan to go back soon & stay at the High House. The house is set up so cute, comfy, adorable & so relaxing we felt like we were right at home there. Everything about this place is just fabulous, I can't tell you how much we loved it so you will need to stay there to see for yourself. Thank you, we plan to come visit again soon.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house has been redone inside and out, yet has maintained its historic charm. The bed is comfy and the towels are fresh and new. The hosts have thought of everything. They have cleverly rigged the lights such that you only need to say Alexa, Turn on living room lights, etc. The bidet was an entirely new experience for both of us and I’ll leave it at that. We may or may not be ordering one now. We loved the coffee bar and the back porch sitting. We found Freetail’s Pizza and Brewery on day 1 because it’s only half a mile away! Highly recommend. The Riverwalk is a short drive away or a low-priced Uber ride away. We especially enjoyed the nearby McIntyre’s Sports Bar. They show everything at once-Astros, The Masters, college softball, XFL, hockey, and their cocktails are pretty and unique and delicious. We appreciate the pet friendly policy. The back yard is not fenced, and it’s ruled by a couple of cats, so we walked our dog out front which was no problem. Excellent communication with Carisa. An overall great experience.
Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Love the aesthetic and coziness of the place. Neighborhood is quiet and close to all the spots we had planned to attend.
Property is perfect for couples. Cozy and clean property with a lot of character. It is located in a neighborhood that is undergoing a transition but we felt fine staying here and would stay here again. Property has all the amenities for a home away from home. There is central air but bedroom has an window unit to facilitate. Property is also 1 street from railroad tracks so train may be loud. Both of these were not issues for us but wanted to mention in case these are factors for others. Overall a pleasant stay!
We had a wonderful stay. Located near many attractions and restaurants. Perfect for a couples getaway. The host was friendly and quick to respond to the questions we had.
This is an adorable home away from home. The home is just minutes away from all San Antonio attractions and sites. When needed Carisa was very responsive before and during our stay. We will be back! :)
There were so many amazing features in this property. It really felt like home during our stay.
