Lakefront Luxury Apartment on Lake Murray ~Next to Marina & 10 min to Lexington

In this charming new lower level apartment right on the lake, there are two bedrooms with beautiful new king beds and new linens, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, dining area, laundry and large covered patio. Upon request, a blowup queen mattress and a regular twin mattress are provided if needed for extra guests.. See photos for amenities perfect for short or longer-term stays.

Enjoy watching a movie in the living room on the large 75-inch flat screen TV complete with professional surround-sound for a movie theater experience. Roast hot dogs and marshmallows by an evening lakeside campfire and grill your favorite foods on the grill.

Kayak rentals are available on site ($20/day, $15/half day). Siesta Cove Marina is a one minute walk (or 30 second drive) where you can launch your own boat, or rent a pontoon boat. Ask about private lake tours or guided fishing tours etc. Multiple Lakefront Restaurants nearby by boat or car.

Experience world-class fishing with 500 miles of coastline on Lake Murray. Explore multiple tree-covered islands, beautiful coves, beaches, and stunning shoreline mansions. Don’t forget binoculars for abundant wildlife observation including osprey, wild herons, turtles, deer and one of the largest bird migrations in America (Purple Martins). Evening is a perfect time to enjoy a walk or bike ride down quiet roads and trails nearby.

Nearby attractions include the River Bank Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Harbison State Park, The Palmetto Trail, the Saluda River Walk, nightlife in downtown Columbia including live music, tapas bars and several good restaurants. Icehouse Amphitheater is 15 mins away and has live concerts. Many are free. Augusta National Golf Course and the Master's Golf Tournament.

Clean, peaceful, homey, beautiful view.

Lower level of the owner’s house but doesn’t feel like you’re sharing space. The furniture, the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are newly furnished. Lovely place to stay. The lake as the sun comes up is gorgeous.

Beautiful and clean property

We were visiting the area for a lacrosse tournament and this was a perfect choice for a place to stay. We loved the cleanliness and the lake view. The kids loved the zip line! Would stay here again if in the area.

Wonderful place to get away

This property has a beautiful view. It appeared to be newly renovated and was clean and the bed was comfortable. Kitchen had adequate dishes, glasses and cookware to be able to prepare and eat meals. Overall would recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment. It was very well stocked and updated with a beautiful view of the lake. The owners were very accommodating. They helped provide us with the few extra things (towels, coolers) we needed for a day on the lake. Very nice couple! We would stay here again! Thanks again for the great stay!

A Gem To Visit

This was the second time we have stayed at this amazing VRBO! I can assure you that we will be back soon. It is such a wonderful stay. The accommodations are clean; the owners are truly caring and passionate about their property; it is well stocked with what you would need for a getaway, and the communication with the owners was amazing! If you get the chance to visit, please do. The views in the morning and throughout the day are extremely pretty, and waking up to Lake Murray is a joy. We love this location and would recommend it to anyone.

The house is adorable! It was clean and comfortable and the view is amazing. I highly recommend renting a pontoon boat for a day to enjoy more views of the lake. Ruth offered help with anything we needed. I look forward to booking another memorable trip again soon.

Amazingly Clean

We lived, worked and played in Colorado for over 20 years, but the dream of living on a beautiful lakefront brought us here to South Carolina! We love the outdoors, mountain biking, skiing, dirtbike riding, hiking and playing pickle ball. We also love to play music on various instruments and especially love swing dancing!

Why they chose this property

We love this quiet and peaceful neighborhood on a dead-end street. No through traffic! Our nearby neighbor is a fishing guide pro and we love that sometimes you'll look out the window and in the distance see him taking excited people on fishing adventures. We love all the different Lake views you get when you walk through the neighborhood especially Rock Island Rd. and crooked Road. And one point there is a lake on both sides of the road. We love watching the wildlife on the lake such as blue herons, ducks, eagles, Osprey, turtles, etc.
