The entire home is available for your restful stay. The home is minutes away from various restaurants and grocery stores. We have familiar restaurants like Chili’s, IHOP, Jimmy Johns, Hardies, Sonic, Arby’s, Denny’s, and many more. Major shopping centers such as Walmart and Meijer are 3 minutes away. There is a beach and nearby zoo 15 minutes from the home. Great and safe neighborhood.

Good location

Worked very well for us

The house was clean and neat. It looks like it has been renovated relatively recently, so everything was working well. When I had a question, Marlene was very responsive. The living room is spacious, so are the bedrooms and bathrooms. Even with 8 people (4 adults and 4 kids) we did not feel that we are on top of each other. It was very convenient that each of the four bedrooms has either a bathroom or a 1/2 bath. It was also great to have a toaster oven instead of just a toaster. Our only issue was that having meals was not very convenient. For instance, there were only 7 chairs at the table and 4 glasses (for 8 people). There were some plastic sippy cups though. Also the bowls and some plates were plastic and "not recommended for microwave and dishwasher use". So we ended up washing mostly by hand and not using them in the microwave. It would be an easy fix to get a set of glasses and microwave-safe bowls. Nevertheless we had a great time at the house and will stay again if we end up coming to Michigan City in the future.
