My family had a wonderful stay at this home in Westport!! This house has plenty of room and the 7 of us were able to cook and eat together, and enjoy the outside deck as well. There were so many dishes as well as pots and pans, which was helpful. Having 3 bathrooms was also helpful with our large group. Horseneck Beach is close by, and we spent 2 days at the beach, and then came back to the house to relax. The host was very kind and provided answers to my questions about the house before we arrived. I highly recommend this house. We may be back again !!
The house and property were just fantastic - plenty of space, very comfortable and nicely furnished and decorated. Our stay there was just what we needed - our only decisions on a daily basis were what beach to go to and what to have for dinner. Haven’t slept that well for a few months - there’s nothing like the ocean air.
Our stay in Westport was everything we hoped for. The house was immaculate and charmingly appointed. The first floor was light and airy with a spacious and very private wrap around deck with gas grill and comfortable seating-perfect for morning coffee and evening dinner. Though there are a lot of rooms upstairs my husband and I took the downstairs master bedroom with its fabulous walk in closet and full bath. The kitchen was fully equipped so between state of the art tea kettle and coffee maker and toaster oven. Microwave and full stove there wasn’t anything we couldn’t do. The house is tucked away in a very scenic and rural setting yet we were within 15 minutes of everything—Grays Daily Grind for delicious pastries, Westport Lobster for the freshest seafood, Lees market for everything and anything and Horseneck beach for sun, sand and great swimming. But it was Darah Schofield who helped make our stay so pleasant. We had a few minor requests and she went above and beyond to handle them and her warm personality made us feel truly at home. We are glad she shared her lovely home with us and feel that others will be as delighted
