North Beach Coastal Escape

Looking for a perfect coastal getaway? I've got the perfect spot. This condo has a view of the beach and with a one minute walk, you’ll have your toes in the sand! Nearby has all of the views that North Beach has to offer such as the USS Lexington and the Harbor Bridge, both beautifully lit up at night. Along with being close to some of the top attractions in the area, such as the Texas State Aquarium and the Corpus Christi Hooks Minor League Baseball stadium, you’ll also be close to some of the best food Corpus Christi has to offer.

This 1 bedroom is newly remolded with the cutest coastal style. The condo features a queen bed in the bedroom and a full size sleeper sofa in the living room. There is also a set of bunk beds for the kids. The kitchen is fully furnished so you can eat-in during your stay if you’d like. The living room has sliding doors to access the deck.. The deck is a great place to sit and watch sunrise and have a cup of coffee with only the sound of seabirds. In the evening you're on the shaded side.

Villa De Sol condominiums has 2 private pools with 1 heated through the fall and winter.

Internet issues

We tried to contact the owner and the emergency number and neither one contacted us back. We went 4 days with no internet or television service.

Disappointed

Like this place pool was amazing ,checking was amazing but when we got to the elevator it wasnt working we are senior citizens two ladys their knee hurt to go up the stairs and they look dirty, we had trouble trying to unlock the door when we walk in it was really nice and pretty but when we try to turn on the tv it was not working for us to program thinking it would work nothing !!! Then the couple went into their room and no tv and no door whats wrong with this ???? in the moring no coffee just the coffee maker ??? TO make iT this is a resort yall should supple items with the price i PAID OR ANYBODY PAIDS I was very UPSET but Thank but No Thank you never again will we go there !!! I FEEL SORRY FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE 2ND AND ESPECIALLY THE 3RD FLOOR!!!! WE CALL FRINT DESK THEY COULDNT EVEN HELP US RESOLVE OR PROBLEMS SEND US A NUMBER CALL OR TEXT NO GOT A RESPONSE!!!!!

Check in was difficult and the room was filthy. There was an outlet with no cover and no smoke alarm

Terrible property management company. As soon as we got to the condo to check in we couldn't because we were not specifically given the room number. The receptionist told us that they were not informed by the property management company that we were staying there. It took me about 30 minutes just to check in because I had to try to get ahold of someone at the property management company and then was charged a check in fee by the condo that I was not informed I would need to be paying when I booked the room! When I told the property management about the fee they said sorry and that they had never heard of a check in fee before but didnt offer to try to get that reimbursed. When we finally got to our room we immediately noticed the room had not been swept, mopped and none of the furniture had been wiped clean. The stove top needed to be cleaned before we were able to use it and one of the burners is missing a piece. There was dust everywhere, the ceiling fan, the furniture, the bottom of the bathroom sink. My daughter was sneezing and coughing the entire time we were there. Again when i told the property management about it being dirty they said the cleaner was there at 4 which is when check in is so I was confused as to why she was there when we were supposed to be in the room, that's supposed to be done before check in time. They offered her to come back and clean but we had already settled in the room and werent going to be inconvenienced by someone getting in our way when we are supposed to be on vacation and it should have been done beforehand, the room is tiny to begin with, looks bigger in the pictures. Dont expect to get a good nights sleep either. The bed in the bedroom is like sleeping on a rock and the day bed in the living room keeps slipping off onto the floor all night as your sleeping on it. The absolute worse part was in the bedroom, there was no outlet cover on one of the outlets and the smoke alarm in the bedroom was not attached. That is an incredibly dangerous hazard especially since we had children with us! I was not given any wifi information even after asking for it specifically. The text message that the property management company sends to its guests for check in is very unclear and mixed around. Incredibly hard to decipher and without important information. The only good thing about this room was the view and walking distance to the beach. The pictures of the room are absolutely misleading. Please choose carefully.
