The Beach Escape is a professionally designed home that is a 5-minute walk to the beach and a 2-minute drive to Destin Commons. After your day on the beach, rinse off at the backyard outdoor shower and take a dip in the newly constructed LED-lit, 29ft x 14ft heated saltwater pool and 8ft x 8ft spa. Relax on the in-pool shelf loungers while the children play in the shaded sandbox. Enjoy the Breeo Smokeless fire pit while lounging in our comfortable, oversized adirondack chairs, while making S’Mores, sharing stories, and making memories!

Family Vacation
The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The house was exactly what we were looking for—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—which really made our trip special. After a day at the beach, the pool was a perfect place to unwind and relax. The location was ideal, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend staying here! We had such a great stay, we are also considering checking out another of their locations!

The house was amazing! The pool and hot tub was a definite plus to come home to everyday. The access to the beach and local shopping and dining was very easy and accessible. We rented a golf cart for our stay which I would recommend for coming and going to beach especially with a large party. The host were very responsive to all inquiries and checked in on us daily. I will definetly be staying here again for sure.

I was really happy with the house, pool, hot tub and fire pit. I wanted to have a private place close to the beach and this was perfect. We didn’t want to have to deal with the crowd at the pool and hot tub at a condo so we booked this awesome house. Nothing like having a quiet pool and hot tub to come back to after leaving the beach. We even did s’mores one night. The home owners supplied everything so why not. Will be coming back in the future

The property is located a few blocks from the beach and checked all of our boxes. The owners thought of everything and we honestly did not want to leave. The house was clean, efficient and provided a private resort vibe. 11 out 10!!

The home was wonderful. The weather was not very cooperative for hanging at the beach, but that didn’t effect our stay at all. The kids played in the pool/hot tub the entire time. The home was well stocked with the things that matter (cookware, seasonings, pool/beach towels, coffee, etc..). It is set up great for children. The host communicates clearly, and was prompt to respond to questions. We had no issues with this property. The location is excellent! We will be back.

Beautiful Family-Friendly Beach Spot!
We selected this property as it had all the amenities we wanted, and the reviews were awesome. We were thrilled to find that our experience met and exceeded our expectation. We stayed for 5 nights with two separate families - total of 8 people. The heated pool and hot tub were wonderful! The house was clean and stocked with everything we could need from towels, beach towels, beach "gear" and more. Also, we had just a few small tweaks on night one and found the hosts to be extremely responsive. They immediately sent the property manager over who corrected all tweaks. She was so kind and gave us some great insights to the area. Overall, this was our best VRBO experience, and we highly recommend to any other travelers - especially families.

We spent a week at the Backyard Oasis. It was the best trip ever! The house is amazing! The hosts provide everything you need to feel at home for your vacation. The beds were super comfy! Everything was top of the line. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were top notch. We really enjoyed the corn hole and huge connect 4 board. The neighborhood was safe and friendly. Short walk to the beach. If you are looking for a place to stay, look no further! Hosts Dave and Shannon were responsive and great to work with. Thanks so much for allowing us to have a wonderful time.

Perfect family rental!
The house was clean, well stocked and beautiful! It fit our family of 7, kids’ friends, and my in-laws perfectly! Dave and Shannon were responsive and made the check in/out process quick and easy, and were even generous enough to send the family Crumble cookies! The pool and hot tub were a huge hit, as were all the included pool toys/inflatables & the house was a quick 5 minute walk to the crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches! We definitely will be back to rent the “Backyard Oasis” again!

We just had a fantastic stay at The Escapes, Destin FL. The house is charming. Fantastic upkeep and very clean. Back yard and pool area were very fun for adults and kids. Property manager was very responsive.

Great beach getaway
The house and amenities are exactly as described. A beautiful home with lots of well thought out extras for all ages and needs. The host checks-in to make sure all is well, and quickly answers questions. The house has a great pool and is a short walk to the beach. It’s a quick drive to stores and attractions/activities, but in a quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this house and host!

Beyond Expectations!!!
This property was all it advertised to be and then some. This home was extremely clean and well kept. Check-in was easy. The manager stayed in contact to make sure everything was good. If we had any questions, they were answered within five minutes. They were very responsive to any questions we had. We had nine people in our party and we all slept very comfortably with room to spare. The only thing I had to contact them about, where are the beanbags for the corn hole game and they had some delivered within one hour. They also had a little goodie box delivered our first night, which was extremely nice and unexpected. Overall, our stay was wonderful. We were close to the beach. We had everything we needed at the house. To be honest we could have left half of what we brought at home, because everything we needed was there and if it wasn’t, they would have it delivered quickly. We will DEFINITELY stay at this home anytime we visit Destin. Thanks for ALL YOUR GREAT HOSPITALITY….. GREAT VACATION SPOT FOR FAMILY! 10/10

This property was the best VRBO property I have ever stayed in. Everything about the home is as advertised, and more. It is highly evident that the host, David, is invested in his customers' experience. He was highly responsive and helpful. The home is well-maintained, very clean, furniture was comfortable, kitchen very wellzstocked, and the backyard is truly an oasis. The neighborhood is lovely, with close proximity to shopping, bars, and restaurants. The beach is a short walk, although we went around noon and were able to find a good parking spot. Can't recommend this property enough! Thank you for a great stay!

From booking to check out it was very smooth. They really do have everything from wagons, chairs, umbrellas for the beach to pool toys and towels. Walking distance to the beach and an ice cream shop it was really great. We used door dash too for a great home cooked meal. Highly recommend. Thank you.

A True Gem in Destin! Amazing Home + Host
My group and I absolutely loved this house for our girls trip. It was so well decorated (great for pictures), had an amazing backyard with stunning pool+hot tub, plenty of room, and surprisingly comfortable beds and sheets. Our host was extremely communicative before, during and after our trip which was so refreshing. It's a close walk to the beach and delicious restaurant (Crab Trap) and in a very safe area. The amenities were definitely as advertised and more than I've ever seen at a rental home (beach towels, fully stocked shed with beach toys, chairs, wagons, etc.). Their attention to detail definitely did not go unnoticed by our group which made it so easy on us. They even made sure the floats were blown up at the pool before we got there!! This home and host were by far one of the best, myself or my group, had experienced when renting a house. Definitely booking again next time I'm in Destin with a group! 10000/10

Perfect Beach Getaway!
Our family of 5 enjoyed a spring break at this beautiful property located in the heart of Destin. The home is well appointed, with the all of the comforts of home and more. Our kids enjoyed the pool and sandbox, while the adults relaxed in the hot tub. We all loved making s'mores nightly around the fire pit. The short walk to the beach was great, and it was nice to have chairs, toys, and towels provided. The property hosts were no less than amazing- they went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and comfortable. The home was spacious yet cozy, beautifully decorated, and well-maintained. I hope no one else stays here so that we can have it all to ourselves :)

Our family had a great time at this house. There is a wide variety of things to do including hot tub/pool, fire pit, close to beach, etc. The few issues we had the owner was very response and took care of it right away. Really appreciated the promptness. Would definitely stay there again.

OPPORTUNITY FOR MEMORIES
What a wonderful week full of great memories!!! This house has EVERYTHING! Kitchen is a dream -- even sea creature waffle iron -- with everything you need! Backyard is a wonderful escape with opportunities for fun or relaxation to include lights at night for great ombiance and a firepit for cooler weather and a private pool and roomy hot tub! Every detail is already taken care of -- just bring your clothes and groceries! The hosts are phenomenal, and it is obvious they take great pride in ensuring your memories are lasting. Our trip was Spring Break with a houseful of girls, and it was great! Furnishings are comfortable, plentiful, and great. Safety is provided for all features, and instructions are clear and concise. While we had an "uh-oh" with plumbing (I mean, 10 girls), the hosts were "Johnny-on-the-spot" and got it resolved. Communication beforehand of what to expect and during our stay was excellent. All areas are exceptionally clean and would pass the white glove test! One of the best VRBO's we have experienced with great hospitality. From the beach towels to water toys to Smores kit to Crumb cookies, this place has all the opportunities for the best memories to be made. Only negative was we had to leave!!!! Would we book again? You betcha!!!!

Perfect Location and amenities for our Galentine's Get-a-way Trip
Cozy, Clean. Comfortable and perfect in so many ways. Dave was a great host who checked in to guarantee everything was going well and that we had everything as well as went above and beyond with a surprise delivery of "Crumbl Cookies" & tea via Door Dash. Perfect touch to our "Galentine's get-a-way Trip". We loved the pool, hot tub and that it was heated making in a perfect amenity even though the weather was less than ideal. It still allowed us to enjoy while it was rainy and cold. :) We were all smiles rain or shine! The only negative thing was when it had to come to an end. :)
