We stayed over a long weekend and had a great time. The cabin was clean and had access to a beautiful pond. It was a quiet area and wonderful for a little getaway. Communication was also a plus as VRBO had some technical issues and the owner, Michael, was quick to respond to my messages and get us the information.
Beautiful cabin with everything you need! Beautiful views. Everything is exactly like the pictures. Such a great get away! We will definitely be back!!
Beautiful cabin, great location. Hiking trails right in the neighborhood, a short drive into Blue Ridge. We loved it, would love to return in the summer to enjoy the lake!
We had a great time here! The cabin is well stocked and very cozy! We loved the hot tub and the views off the dock. My kids loved the outdoor space and the firepit. Would definitely stay again. Minutes from hiking and downtown Blue Ridge!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is as advertised and the pictures are accurate. It was very clean, had a great view, and was a great long weekend get away. We loved it, and would definitely stay here again. A few things to note and be aware of before you stay here1. We only stayed in the master bedroom because there were only 2 of us, so that is the only room I can speak too. The bed was very firm and to me very uncomfortable. I won't take a star off for that because that's preference. But if you like soft beds, being a pad. 2. The furniture in the living room looks great. Needs a recliner or 2. It's not the most comfortable. But you really don't spend that much time in it I guess. 3. The drive way is steep, right, and gravel. The road to the cabin is narrow and has lots of blind spots. I was thankful to have a 4x4 for the drive way just because of the loose gravel.
This cabin is beautifully decorated with beautiful views, a well appointed kitchen with most anything you could need. The owner was a pleasure to work with, and answered all our questions right away!
The highlight of our stay was 1) the lake and 2) the closeness to Blue Ridge. The cabin was disappointing. Damp towels were left in the dryer, mold in main shower, cobwebs/spiders upstairs and windows, ceiling light flickering in master bedroom, water puddles on kitchen floor, stair unsafe going to second level, no cable on main floor TV, recycle garbage inside. We've stayed many times in Blue Ridge. This is the first time we used VRBO. We were so disappointed.
Close to Atlanta, beautiful, completely remodeled cabin on a stunning deep pond full of fish who are much smarter than I. The host thought through every detail and the comfort and luxury is unparalleled. Can't wait to come back and swim too!
This cabin was the most well stocked cabin I’ve ever stayed at! I was easily able to cook dinner with all of the supplies, dinner wear and kitchen utensils provided. That is always a relief when you are cooking and actually have everything you need. The view is beautiful, we loved spending time on the decks. It was hard to get a paddle board or kayak in because the water is so deep, so we had to stick to the paddle boat that was provided. The stairs are pretty steep both inside and outside the house, so I’m glad my kids were older and didn’t need to be supervised. Overall, a great place that I would stay at again.
This property has been recently renovated and nothing was left undone. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. The furniture is comfortable and updated. The view from the glassed in dining area is beautiful. The gas fireplace was great, however the outdoor fire pit is pretty precarious as it is on a steep downgrade so we chose not to use. We had hoped to watch the Ga:Ohio state game but couldn’t get ESPN We would definitely recommend this cabin!
This one is even better than it looked in pics. The fit and finish of the carpentry, the various stain & paint combinations on the planks and beams. All the light fixtures were really cool and a definite upgrade from the usual. The four areas overlooking the little lake were amazing. The master bedroom covered porch, the dining room "overlook", the deck chairs were a great spot under the tree canopy. And the lower level was its own special getaway. We loved the attention to detail in the bathrooms with the things one sometimes forgets to pack. Overall for us it was a great place to unplug, unwind and recharge ourselves. So relaxing.
With so many different places to choose from, this one is the best. Beautiful view, everything you need, very clean, very safe, close to everything. Worry free, hassle free, exactly what you need.
Great place to getaway from the rigors of every day life. Our family was able to enjoy kayaking on the lake, enjoy some fresh air and most importantly time with each other.
