Great place in downtown falmouth

We had a great time at this place that has all the amenities you need for a short stay. Location is amazing, a couple of steps from main street in Falmouth. The host was very responsive and supportive.

AMAZING! We didn’t want to leave!

We were so in love with our stay - the property was perfect and even more beautiful in person than I could have imagined. The beds and sheets were so comfortable, and the little sun room was perfection for morning coffee and conversations. Great location in town, walking distance to everything we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Falmouth

The house is great and the location is great—easy walking to town and a short drive to the beach. You can also walk to the beach as it is just a 20-25 min walk.

Perfect location, great house

We were in town for a wedding and stayed for the week with 3 generations. The location was one block to all the shops and restaurants on Main St, a park was 2 blocks away, and there was a keypad access door so there are no keys to misplace. There were 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs. The bunk bedroom downstairs did not have a door and would note there are 2 bunk rooms and 2 queen rooms. The house was newly remodeled from top to bottom with clean modern decor, a lovely sunroom on the first floor and plenty of space for everyone to be in the same area. The kitchen and baths had all the amenities including extra cleaning products and a washer and dryer in the basement with laundry soap, if needed. Each bed included a 3 piece white towel set so if you are headed to the beach, bring a beach towel. We had a great stay and would definitely book again!

Amenities lacking

There were 6 adults staying for a week and there was one roll of toilet paper provided in each bath. Also it was necessary to wash some towels and there was not any clothes soap. There was plenty of dryer sheets. Also there was not any bath soap and a small amount of liquid hand soap in baths. We had to buy toilet paper and other bath amenities and clothes soap. I reported to person we rented from at the end of our stay and he said we should have called him. My feeling is that when you pay what we paid to rent the home we shouldn’t have to call to get more toilet paper and other items. In the description these items were to be provided. There were very large bottles of head and shoulders shampoo. These must have been on sale. Who provides head and shoulders shampoo in a great rental property. Also there was a cleaning fee of 300 plus and we were told to strip all beds and place all bedding and towels in baskets. Also to put all dirty dishes in dishwasher. When you pay that much for cleaning I don’t feel we should have to strip beds.

Beyond Expectations on the Cape!

Location: I could not have been more pleased with the location and accessibility this property provided us on our stay. The home was just a few steps off Main St. in Falmouth with easy access to ice cream parlors, cafes, local shops and world class dining. There were a few beaches within a 15 min. walk from the house and many more within a 15 min. car ride. Being in on The Upper Cape, you were within two hours of Boston as well as Province Town on the Northern Tip of the Lower Cape. The Ferry to Martha's Vineyard was a 15 min. drive away. Property/Amenities: I'm not sure if the property was brand new or a full remodel- either way it was exquisite. and was very well suited and appointed for our family of 6. Upstairs there was a spacious Master, full bathroom and youth room (bunk beds and a twin). Downstairs you will find two two separate living areas, large open kitchen and dining room as well as a queen room and a recreation room with a tv and futon. New and decorative linens throughout. There is a washer./dryer in the basement as well as a grill on the deck. Owner/Property Manager: We found Nadeem and John to be extremely patient, flexible and helpful. We received a number of proactive contacts to simply check-in on how we were enjoying our stay and if they could help with any dining/activity suggestions. Although they were never on-sight we felt they would be extremely diligent in responding if we had to reach out with a concern or need. Our time on the Cape: We took the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, visited a number of local beaches (Old Silver and Chapoquoit were our faves), and drove into P-Town for touring/dining/Race Beach (highly recommend). While in Falmouth we dined at the Quarterdeck, Anejo, Estia and listened to great live music while out late at Liam Maguires. I can't imagine having a bad meal in Falmouth. but do be prepared at the more popular restaurants for longer waits and declining take-out orders (even on weeknights). Thank you again Nadeem and John for hosting your wonderful property so we could experience the true charm of the Cape!
