This visit was our second one and it was even better than the first! We were able to stay for a bit longer this time and truly appreciate this quiet little place on the farm. It's perfect for rest, relaxation and getting away from it all.
This place is a gem! We stayed for two nights, but wish it could've been longer. It's a great place to get away to and unwind. Everything was as described and the host Vickie was very pleasant to communicate with. Certainly hope to make a return visit.
We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was fully modernized. Everything was comfortable. Towels and bedding were high quality. Kitchen was fully equipped. There were many nice touches with seasonal decor and little extras to make our stay more comfortable. The farm was beautiful. Would highly recommend.
This property was a pleasant surprise. Private, cozy and clean.
A perfect place to relax and get away to a beautiful setting and peaceful.
I didn't want to leave.
We stayed at the cabin for 7 weeks while we waited for our new home. I could not have chosen a better place to stay. It is very inviting and peaceful. I enjoyed watching the deer and other wildlife while sitting on the front porch. Vickie was the perfect host and very accommodating. The cabin is very comfortable. So glad we chose this as our home away from home. Thank you Vickie!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the cabin. Such a beautiful location, quiet, private, clean and everything else you would look for. Great communication with the manager. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.. We'll certainly come back again.
My wife and I had a great stay. It was the perfect place for us. We are country people and enjoyed the scenery and the cottage. Our host was always communicating with us and made us feel at home. Thanks
Always immaculately clean with beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Couldn’t ask for a nicer place. Bed is super comfortable and there were plenty of towels for our week long stay. This is our second time staying here and can’t wait to come back again. Thanks Vickie!
This place is awesome! Private, clean and a great location to all the nearby sites in the Pilot Mountain/Mt. Airy area. The house is perfect and has all the amenities that anyone could want. The furniture and bed is also very comfortable. The owner was very easy to get in touch with and we will definitely stay here again!!! On a scale of 5, this place is a 10!!!
The location, despite a few minutes from town, is beautiful. The cabin is located at the end of a drive through a farm that is very calming. The cabin's location is perfect...in the trees with a pond view. It has been updated to include all the necessities and is perfect for two people. It is close to lots of hiking at Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock State Park plus lots of wineries. Vickie is wonderful to work with and is willing to provide whatever you need.
We had a wonderful time at Nellie’s. Me and my fiancé had a great time away for a little romantic getaway. We enjoyed fishing in the pond, they have some nice brim and bass too! I also enjoyed the outside setting, fire, beautiful lighting, and a nice relaxing swing on the hammock. Everything we needed was there. We cooked all of our meals, and stayed cuddled and cozy most the time. We had to make one run for some ketchup at the little store up the street. We definitely recommend. 10 out of 10!
My wife and I were attending a conference in Winston Salem, and wanted to stay away from city hubub. This cabin provided a escape from city. It was neat and clean, nicely arranged space. Very comfortable and quiet. It had basic pans, oven, microwave, plates and cups, not anything extra. Nice place overall, would recommend, there is another house a stones throw up the hill, but we were not bothered by anyones coming and going.
