The Coastal Casita

Welcome to “The Coastal Casita” which is located close to downtown Pensacola. The home is located approximately 1.5 miles from Seville Quarter, Blue Wahoos Stadium and The Palafox Market where you could enjoy an evening baseball game in season or plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping. It is also located less then 10 miles from Pensacola Beach which is one of the top rated beaches in the United States. Approximately 6 miles from the Naval Air Station Pensacola(NAS) and just 6.5 miles from Pensacola International Airport. The home features 2bd/2ba with three smart TVs, WiFi, laundry room, a fully stocked kitchen, and a driveway with off street parking. The master includes a walk in closet along with an en suite bathroom. A newly renovated park and dog park is located just one block away(Kiwanis Park).

Located inside the master bedroom walk-in closet is a queen size air mattress which can be used in the living room.

The home also features a charming backyard with Adirondack chairs, a fire pit and string lighting where you could listen to the birds or enjoy time with family or friends.

Cute/clean house

We loved the house and how clean it was. Nice that it’s close to beaches and downtown Pensacola. Neighborhood was not the greatest, but neighbors seemed friendly and kept to themselves. Overall it was great! Would stay again.

Had a great time

Really enjoyed our stay. The unit was perfectly located and easy to navigate around town. Only complaint was having to use a stool to get into bed. Needs to be advertised prior to booking for anyone with mobility problems.

Well appointed and beautiful house, awesome yard

This property is well stocked with amenities. the kitchen is new and clean, the living room is very comfortable. Large televisions are a nice touch. Beds are comfy, bathrooms are spacious and pretty. The plantation shutters give lots of privacy. The backyard was great for the dogs and the adults. They fire pit and chairs was a great place to relax under the bistro lights. The property is a short drive from downtown.

Great yard

Perfect place if you want a small backyard for your furry family member. Spent most nights outside. Bed was huge and comfortable. Neighbor across the road was friendly. I'd stay again.

Nice little house

House is clean and comfortable and very well equipped. Loved the backyard seating space. Convenient location in a walkable downtown neighborhood. Some houses in various stages of renovation but neighborhood is comfortable and safe and friendly.

Great property

It was perfect for us… it was very clean, with comfortable beds, and had a nice backyard for us to relax in at the end of the day. The dog loved the yard and had plenty of room to stretch his legs. Would stay again.

Perfect

We were in between houses and booked this property for our transition. The house was very clean and cute. It’s not too far to everything downtown. Our kids loved the space in the backyard and the fire pit. Even the neighbors were super friendly. Jonathan was quick to respond with any questions we had. Definitely would stay here again.

Cuteness overload!

Everything was perfect! The bedrooms and bathrooms were very large and accommodating. It was very cute and clean. I would love to make a home like this my "forever" and even asked my husband if we could update our home to look like this one. We shopped a local grocery and enjoyed many home cooked meals during our stay. We would love to stay here again if we visit the area again.

PENSACOLA GET AWAY

This property was the perfect size for me, my husband, our 2 kiddos 8 & 12, and our husky. The location was close to everything we needed while we were there for a week including shopping and great restaurants. The home had all of the supplies mentioned and the pictures are correct. The backyard was perfect for our pet and kiddos, and we even were able to grill out and make S'mores in the firepit one night. There is also a dog park and play ground only a block away that we were able to take advantage of during our stay. Over all this is a great property.

Nice roomy home with a great backyard

We had a nice extended stay here in January. The best parts were the spacious kitchen and the backyard / fire pit. Solid amenities. Comfy beds. Would stay here again!

Coastal Casita is cozy

The location was perfect for downtown Christmas activities and great restaurants. I recommend Nick’s boathouse for Sunday brunch and Five Sister’s for soul food at lunchtime. Both restaurants permit dogs on the patio. There was a playground just around the corner but the dog park on site was locked. I never felt unsafe in the neighborhood although some of the homes in the surrounding area could use some major upkeep. The house across the street had an eclectic collection of junk scattered throughout the yard. The neighbor kept a trailer parked on the street in front of his house that required some maneuvering to get out of the driveway of the rental. I just made sure to back into the drive for greater visibility pulling out each time. The Coastal Casita was newer construction; a very cute and immaculate shotgun style home. The living area was small which was fine since I traveled solo but might be an issue for a larger group. The kitchen was well stocked; bedrooms and bathrooms spacious. The decor was charming. The back patio, fire pit and strung lights made the outdoor space inviting. I do have two recommendations: First: replace the carpet in the bedrooms with tile since dogs are welcome. I noted a couple of small stains in the master bedroom that my dog spent a lot of time sniffing. You then might be able to use less plug ins to camouflage any lingering odors. The other recommendation is to have a step stool available if needed to get into that very high bed in the master. I’m short and I had to get creative to get into bed each time due to bilateral knee replacements. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, so thank you for the clear communication and welcome

Navy family getaway

This property was perfect for our visit with our son stationed in Pensacola. It was a short trip to the base and lots to do in the local area. They provided all of the basics that our family needed. We enjoyed the inside & also the backyard patio!

Cute house downtown Pensacola

Absolutely beautiful kid & Dog friendly ❤️ Neighborhood is cute and charming old school feeling. Very clean comfortable beds beding are great the pictures on the app are exactly how it looks. We were very very impressed. This Is one of the BEST rentals I have stayed in. Owner was fantastic available anytime I needed him.

Nice Getaway

We enjoyed our short time in Pensacola. The accommodations were nice and centrally located. Not far from downtown and just a little further to the beach. Quite area and our dogs enjoyed the back yard. We would definitely rent again. Owner checked in with us to make sure there was nothing additional that we needed also.

Rental was great, property across the street looked like a junk yard, plus they parked in the street all the time with a vehicle and trailer attached which made it difficult to get in and out of the driveway.

Would live to come back!

My husband and I agreed that this was the cleanest and most comfortable stay we’ve had in a long time! Each room was perfection and so relaxing. The fenced in yard with lights was perfect for our dog. The street was quiet and we had a wonderful time! The drive to and from the beach was about 22 minutes. All the best restaurants were on our side of town.

Pensacola paradise

This house is the perfect destination spot. I was impressed from the time I pulled into the driveway. This house is adorable. I loved the layout of the home. The kitchen is fully stocked dishes wise.(Of course, not with groceries-it does have a little supply of spices, ect). The appliances are up to date, including the washer and dryer (right off the kitchen). The k cups provided were a huge plus. Thank you guys! I didn't know I needed those on my trip! You saved the day. Twice. The breakfast bar off the kitchen was utilized every day. Love that. The living room and dining room are right off the kitchen. The dining table/chairs are beautiful. So comfy! The living room is small, but cozy. A few games were provided. Wish we had time to play those. Down the long hallway are the two rooms and bathrooms. Both rooms were beautifully decorated, with extra linens for both, as well as all the supplies listed in the description. The master bedroom has the master bathroom connected. This was my favorite place. Why? The bathtub. It is PERFECT for soaking in a bath. It was HUGE (and best part-the water didn't run cold halfway through filling). I didn't want to leave after a long day! I thought it was incredibly nice that a candle and soap/shampoo/conditioner were provided. The other bathroom was just as lovely. Bath linens were also of great quality. The backyard was beautifully done. It was nice to be able to let my dog go out the back room and be able to watch her from the inside. I highly recommend this property. It was the perfect home away from home. Everything was modern and well cared for. The security system on the house was also a perk. Lastly, Jon and Kristine were incredibly nice. Very communicative. They reached out and made sure we were comfortable. I couldn't ask for a better stay.
