Camping at the Ice-Shack

Sleeps under the stars, but with 4 walls and a roof!

The Ice-Shack has been placed a less than 5 minute walk down the trail, nestled in the Maine woods. Another short walk will take you to the river and firepit. Enjoy the trails, fish or paddle in the river, feel like you are camping in the back woods away from others, a convenient short walk from your vehicle.

Shack has a futon bottom and a twin top. There is a very basic composting toilet by the Ice-Shack.

Please arrive before sunset on arrival day. No exceptions

The Ice Box

It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.

I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though
