Well furnished and laid out for guests—views and hot tubs made it feel like being on vacation, but while also still feeling cozy and like you had all the things you might want if you were at home.
Beautiful location, hot tub with a stellar view of the river, charming house! One of our favorite rentals. You can see and hear the river from the house. The house is cozy and accommodating with all the amenities you need. Great rental for kids. And the host is super friendly and responsive.Would stay again!
Great property! Just a few small things to note: needs more lamps in living room area, needs a tea kettle, its really hard unlocking front door & the can opener should be replaced. Those are minor things, we loved our stay!!
Very comfortable and cozy place to stay, right on the river with great views! Everything regarding the booking, checking in, and checking out was a breeze and the rest and relaxation began immediately. Close enough to the town, mountains, and hiking.. but also has plenty of on site amentities to just relax on the porch or hot tub. 100% reccomend.
The cabin was gorgeous! Very well maintained… beautifully decorated. The cabin is right on the river and the sound of the rushing water added perfectly to ambience.
The property manager was very communicative and kind! Highly recommend for a family or even a couples getaway.
Nice house, very comfortable and clean. We loved how it was furnished with lots of little things including, pits and pans etc, as well as things like bug spray! Thank you for a lovely weekend of river and wildlife.
Wife and I had a great time at this location. If going in the winter I suggest you get the extra firewood, definitely worth it. Great spot for a weekend. Highly recommend
This property has the ultimate river view, right off the porch. Very tranquil to sit outside and experience the river. The house is stocked with amenities, far more than we expected. The river access is a short walk from the house and the owner provides river floats. We wished we could have stayed longer! Would love to book this property again!
Location couldnt be beat. So lovely to sit on the porch and watch the river. Easy access to calm parts of the river less than half mile away. Unexpected spectacular fireworks show! It was over 90 during the day, and got hot inside in the afternoon. Opening all doors worked, but would have been hard with wandering pets.
… some important information about additional charges, ($30 for firewood and $30 for trash removal) were not detailed in property listing and only revealed to us in the email with the access code for entering the property. Not dealbreakers, but for the cost of our stay disappointing. So, we chose not to build a fire and took care of the trash ourselves. L
We enjoyed our stay. The view of the river was incredible. The fireplace was great for heat and ambiance. The bedrooms were spacious and suited our needs well. The property host, Nichole, was very communicative and worked with us in a courteous and accommodating way. She's the best property host I've ever worked with. There are only 3 items that would have improved our stay: 1) the den/living room had only one small lamp and was not well lit after sunset. 2) the hot tub in the title of the listing is a small, inflatable hot tub. I probably would not have chosen this property if I had known since we were hoping to enjoy the crisp air and the view of the river from the hot tub. 3) the extra fees (like the fee for using firewood) were disappointing considering the large "host fee" that every property now charges.
Our group of 10 enjoyed a long weekend at this riverside house. The only feedback we had was regarding the additional guest fee which had no explanation on the listing. There weren't any instructions for the hot tub so we hit some snags there. We also missed wherever the listing explains that the bunk beds are in an out building which I felt bad asking friends to sleep in in the winter. The heater provided did wonders though.
It wasn't too much of an issue for us, but an extra half bathroom upstairs could be a game changer for this place.
We loved the big comfy couch, fun CD collection, and view from the hot tub. Thanks again
I am not the best at writing reviews, but my group of 8 people were immediately impressed with the rental. The place was immaculately clean when we arrived. Every pillow, blanket and towel had its place and the floors and counters were spotless. The mud room with washer and dryer is a life saver! Great for apres ski storage and hot tub towel and suit reuse! And really, the whole place can be described as above. Accommodating and well thought out.
The instructions for use for everything from the Hot Tub to the fireplace are neatly spelled out in their generously filled welcome book. The kitchen, dining and living area are perfect for having everyone in the same area and very comfortably so. Sofa is large and comfy, table sits 7 perfectly and the kitchen may be an odd spotlight for a VRBO because it is stocked full of anything you would need to cook! Very rare for a rental that I have stayed in. We cooked every meal there for the weekend and never had one thing that was missing or needed. We even cooked some ribs on the smoker and BBQ on the side deck. We loved the place and a couple of us even joked that we would just buy the place and move up.
The river keeps things quiet and I spent at least 2-3 hours just sitting on the back porch looking up at the stars and planets (they even have a telescope!!)
Would definitely stay there again!!!
