This is a lovely home perfect for a family vacation.
It is situated right on the water with easy access for kayaking and paddleboarding. We loved the decks, both up and down, with seating to view all the wildlife activity and a firepit table for entertaining. Close to Gig Harbor and the ferries to Seattle and north, we were able to explore this beautiful are area of WA.
What a wonderful, relaxing stay in the most beautiful location. Laurie was so sweet with reaching out and nice touches and snacks for a comfortable stay. We loved using the kayaks and paddle boards and the home provided plenty of space for our family of 5. We can’t wait to return again someday!
This property lived up to its listing and more. The house is well appointed, updated and comfortable. On our trip it was 2 couples and the 2 main bedrooms are separated and private. We enjoyed the deck with fire table and the wood burning fire pit the most. Not far is Gig Harbor and many fun things to do.
The secluded location on the water with all the wildlife around made the stay so special for us! The house felt upscale and comfy and we would definitely want to stay there again! Thank you!
One of my favorite properties I’ve ever stayed loved the set up of the house it was beautiful and the water is 10ft away from the house we got to go out on the paddle boards and kayaks and we saw sea lions! there is a hanging couch outside downstairs that is perfect to have coffee at in the morning with the sun rising on the water it was so peaceful. I would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful time celebrating our friends 50th birthday at your beautiful location. We saw seals and otters. We enjoyed watching the weather move through and even saw some lightning. It was absolutely perfect.
My child, mother, and two friends flew in to stay for a week. My aunt and cousins live in Olalla and Gig Harbor and they were so impressed they may even want to rent the house for a holiday weekend! Everything was wonderful. We had a great time.
What a lovely setting! We enjoyed a peaceful stay relaxing at the house, taking the kayaks and paddleboards out on the water, or taking a stroll at low tide to see what treasures we could find. There was enough space for everyone to enjoy time together or retreat to separate areas. We would stay here again!

lovely location with some drawbacks
Beautiful location and very nice accommodations. Very tricky parking for anyone and very challenging stairs down to the property for any seniors or persons with mobility issues. Owner was extremely nice in her communications, but the lock on the front door was tedious process. Wonderful location for younger people with small vehicles.
This spot on the waterfront was perfect for spending Christmas with our family in a peaceful and beautiful spot. The kitchen was great for preparing one huge holiday feast after another, and we apppreciated Laurie supplying a larger table for our comfort, not to mention the lovely Christmas tree! Lots to watch on the water, including groups of seals and ducks swimming by! Plus, we took a lovely hike at nearby Anderson park to that beach. Look forward to a return trip!
The views from basically anywhere in or outside the house are phenomenal! I got one of the best sleeps I've had in a vacation home listening to the tide come in and out, along with the light patter of rain on the roof.
The outdoor features of the home were the cherry on top, so to speak. Laying on the outdoor bed swing after a 4 day backpacking trip was truly amazing, along with sitting at the waters edge soaking our feet in the sound. Dinner on the deck at sunset rounded out the stay. 5* accommodation; would highly recommend to anyone.
LOVED IT! The views out the window from any room (except bathrooms) are incredibly relaxing. I had a different property booked that I ended up canceling due to host's lack of honesty on his property description and got this one last minute. I'm so glad that happened now or I wouldn't get to stay at this gem. It accommodated well our family of ages 0-62. There's no insane check-out chores list which is another nice stand out. I can't wait to go back and stay longer in the summer.
This was a little slice of heaven. Views from every room! There were so many wonderful touches. All the cafe lights at night added a warm touch as well. I could return here again and again. The kayaks and paddle boards were perfect for paddling will seals all around us. Can’t wait to return. Also, the communication with host was excellent which made our trip that much nicer
We booked this rental for a quick weekend getaway and couldn’t be more impressed with how cozy the house was. The views of the water cannot be missed!
The check-in process was easy and simple. The host was kind enough to let us check in an hour early. The kitchen was well stocked for our party of seven with plenty of cups, wine glasses, plates, etc. We cooked our meals in the kitchen and had a great time! We will definitely return another time for a longer stay.
We so enjoyed our stay in Laurie’s beautiful, clean and comfortable home. She was such a gracious and responsive host. With the amazing view, it was hard to peel ourselves away from the windows and we were rewarded with seals, sea lions, porpoises and otters. Since we’ve been to the area once before, we were content to spend a lot of time hanging out and enjoyed the many warm throws and the well equipped kitchen when we didn’t venture to Gig Harbor to eat. November is a peaceful time of year. The changing leaves were amazing! What a fabulous property.
Myself and three colleagues rented this property as a home base for a planning retreat. It could not have been more wonderful for our purposes. We were inspired by the gorgeous, beach front setting and had everything we needed to make it a delightful and productive experience. The homeowners have thoughtfully provided the details that make a stay feel relaxing. We cooked our meals in the very well appointed kitchen and used the comfortable living room and dining room for lively discussions. We would love to go back when the weather is a bit warmer so that we can get out on the water in the kayaks!
My family and I stayed here to celebrate our mothers 75th birthday. Our expectations were exceeded big time. Amazing home with everything you could ever need plus more. The owners left us an amazing gift basket full of goodies and a custom made coffee mug with our mothers name on it, wow! We all had a really terrific time there and it was perfect. Between barbecuing, kayaking, sitting by the fire, listening to wildlife and enjoying each others company we stayed busy. Home was extremely clean, comfortable and the entire process was very easy. Highly recommend and would stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you so much!!

Our guests comment on seeing a variety of wildlife while visiting and no matter the weather you will see stunning views from every living space. Although close to Gig Harbor (10 mins) and all its great restaurants, shops and activities you will feel a million miles away at this private oasis.
What makes this property unique
