Nestled in the hills above Kachemak Bay, the Birch House cottage features stunning mountain, glacier, water views, and abundant wildlife. The ideal setting for a relaxing getaway, an Alaskan adventure or both. Close to nature with all the comforts of home.

The Birch House was constructed in 2022 and is pleasantly furnished and pristine. This cottage features a kitchen, eating area, two bedrooms (each with a queen bed), one bathroom, and a comfortable living area with a queen size sofa bed.

Great place to stay!

We loved our stay! The property is just on the outskirts of town but an easy drive to get everywhere. The home was immaculately clean and cozy. We would definitely recommend this to all our friends.

Bear creek cabin.

Fit and finish were out standing. Hospitality was wonderful. We watched sandhill crans in yard.gave us greati formation. Very nice folks we willbestaying again.

This cabin is new and very well maintained. You will want to remove your shoes prior to entry and they ask that you don't clean your fish on site. That said, it was perfect for my family, with all of the conveniences of home. We loved every minute and would highly recommend Bear Canyon Cottages.

Clean and well stocked with all things you may need while you stay. The cabin is adorable and perfectly close to the spit. The view of the bay was stunning from the porch. Thanks for the stay!

Great Family Getaway!

I stayed here with my family of 5 and we had a great time. The place is new, clean, and has everything you need. The front yard is a large mowed field where we enjoyed playing frisbee and the kids enjoyed running around. The house is close to everything in Homer and also has a gorgeous view. Communication and check-in/out was easy. I hope to stay here again and would recommend this VRBO highly. Thanks!

Perfect cabin for our stay!

This place is brand new and very well appointed. The view is spectacular and the yard is huge which is awesome if you have kiddos with you. The pump track/bike park is also pretty close which was an unexpected bonus for us. After 20 years of living in AK we also made it up to the Bear Creek Winery which was just .7 miles away and the perfect way to kill an hour.

Heaven in Homer

The cabin sits on a grassy lawn looking out to the Kachemak Bay, Grewingk Glacier, and the whole Kenai Mountains. The cabin was well equipped, very very clean and inviting. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We recommend Bear Creek Cottages to anyone.
