Set just off the main road, Birdsong is tucked away but easy to find. Built in 1990, the layout is ideal for how we live and play. The living space is spacious and comfy. With ample seating, Internet ready TV, high speed internet, a dedicated work space, games and books for all ages you will feel right at home.
Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail while sitting in front of the warm and cozy gas fireplace. With an extremely well appointed kitchen, stocked by a foodie who loves to cook, making meals won’t feel like a chore at all!
The expansive mud room is perfect for stowing your outdoor gear (please take off shoes before entering the main part of the home). 3 1/2 baths ensure there’s no waiting in the morning. Up the main staircase are three bedrooms (#1 with a king bed, #2 with a twin/full bunk bed and #3 with queen plus twin bed), two full bathrooms and conveniently located laundry facilities. Accessed from a separate staircase, bedroom #4 boasts a queen bed and ensuite full bathroom. New mattresses and ample bedding guarantee a great night’s sleep throughout your stay at Birdsong.
With high speed internet and a dedicated workspace, it's easy to work remotely while enjoying your time in the Adirondacks. A generator ensures that even an unexpected storm won't interfere with important work obligations.
While we share a driveway with our neighbors, we have ample parking at Birdsong. Just make sure to pull all the way onto our property and there is plenty of room for 4-5 cars. During the winter months, snow tires/all wheel drive/4 wheel drive is helpful as the driveway is a bit steep.
Near neighbors, this is not a party house. We ask all guests to be respectful of the full time residents living nearby and treat the house as if it was your home. Please respect the quiet hours between 11pm and 7am.
Relax in the hammock or enjoy the fire pit while sitting in a quintessential Adirondack chair. Dog lovers, we welcome well behaved dogs that are under your control. The yard is unfenced and with the nearby road and the frequent visits from wildlife, please keep your pet on a leash at all times. There is a $50 per pet additional fee at booking.
