What a fabulous hidden gem! Tucked away along the water in the midst of cypress trees! We had such a wonderful weekend getaway thanks to the abundance of hospitality provided by the owners of this VRBO! We highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a place to get away and be pampered at the same time.
We had an amazing weekend!! The location is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful get away. Short distance to the marina where we rented a boat and jet skis.
Wonderful stay. Had to contact the owner a time or two for things and they were extremely responsive and swift with action. The house is immaculate and we couldn’t have asked for a better place!

This is an absolutely beautiful and unique home. The grande updates to every room, the attention to detail and the above and beyond amenities are impeccable. The owner was always available for any help with very quick responses. The property made it such an enjoyable time with kayaking, fishing, and boat access. We hope to be back and would recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful low country home with all the amenities!!! Thank you for an amazing weekend!
Veterans remembering the fallen on Memorial day weekend
We are a family of Veterans who were remembering those we served with who are no longer with us. The home clean and all of the beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again in the future. It was a quiet neighborhood and located very close to stores and restaurants.
Absolutely beautiful home!! We were a party of 8, four couples. Plenty of space for all. Close to the Marsh Walk but in a peaceful small neighborhood. Loved the ability to sit outside and spend time with great friends. Will definitely recommend to others and stay again.
This property is such a vibe! The rooms and bathrooms are huge! The beds and pillows were awesome. Immaculate upon arrival, simple no contact check-in, host was quick to respond to any questions, and we only had to purchase groceries….everything else was provided. We enjoyed the beach with our family at Litchfield and loved having the dock for days on the river. There’s lots of wildlife running amongst the giant old oaks and Cyprus trees. There’s also a rich history of art, rice plantations, and protected Gullah/Geechee community. Great seafood and fresh vegetables a short drive away. Loved it!
We had a three generation Christmas vacation at the Waccamaw Cottage. Everything is new and clean and quality. The kitchen was well equipped for a lavish Christmas dinner. The huge smart TV was streaming Christmas music and movies all week and there was plenty of seating space at the dining table and living room. Nice open concept and flow on the lower level. The beds were comfy and baths made you feel like royalty. We're a fishing family but the weather did not cooperate and was freezing most of our time there so the fishing off the dock and the boat wasn't good but still fun. The location was perfect for shopping locally at the many artisan shops and for eating out at restaurant row. With the 4 master king beds and 3 full baths, this home can accommodate adults and children. But with the lovely artwork and beautiful decorator accessories, I would say its better suited to adults. We rent often and this home has been one of the best. The owners were so friendly and easy to contact and quick to help with anything. We highly recommend Waccamaw Cottage.
WOW!!! Such a beautiful property, and the owner has given the attention of any 5 Star hotel to all the details! The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable, there is plenty of space to gather and enjoy visiting with family, the outside deck is a terrific place for hanging out...the Kitchen is absolutely amazing and is stocked with state of the art equipment for anyone who enjoys cooking to be able to prepare meals in this home. We had a fantastic visit in this home!
