Fantastic home for large group of friends. Lots of beds and space for everyone. House was well stocked with everything we needed. Location was great!
Location was great! Locat great!
The house and property are beautiful and spacious. We had 7 in our group. The kids loved the pool and fishing off the dock. We had some rain one day but had a great time indoors playing pool and hide-and-go-seek. We had a bonfire one evening and enjoyed cooking on the Blackstone and Traeger. The place was great!
We just spent our week staying at the Saylers Beach Home and all I can say is, "EXCEPTIONAL".
The property presents well, clean, organized, stocked with quality items so all you need to do is bring your clothes, food and beverage and sit back.
This property has everything (paper supplies, kitchen equipment, games, grills, etc.) you would need to enjoy your vacation time both indoors and out. Very clean and comfortable. Room and entertainment options for all ages! Would definitely recommend to others!
Very nice home. large and spacious. The grounds outside were great. used the fire pit several times. what was really nice it was so quiet and peaceful outside. lake was beautiful. Only problem was with my fishing boat. to launch the boat it was a very steep place to go down to the water. the area to go down was covered by small rocks. I their welcome binder they recommended to have a four wheel drive pickup to put a boat in. Plus we were told by a neighbor that the lake froze out two winters ago killing most of the fish in the lake. They have restocked but will take a while for the fish to any size to them. The neighbor recommended a couple lake south of where we were staying. We took my boat down to one of the lakes and caught a lot of fish. We had a lot of fun.
This was our second stay at the Sayler's Beach house. There were 6 adults and 4 children ages 2 to 8. We were there for 7 nights. The house is immaculate and as advertised. There are some unexpected features such as a second refrigerator in the garage (and an old video golf game out there as well). There are about 7 smart televisions scattered throughout the property with a very nice patio set, grill, Traeger, and Blackstone outside as well.
The lot must be about an acre and a half in size and is well-separated from the neighbors, so great space for the kids to play outside. The above-ground pool was extremely clean.
There is a dock and "beach" area with some sand to play in, but that part of the property is underwhelming. We rented two kayaks and had a great time getting out on the lake. Since there's no public access we had the entire lake to ourselves most of the time.
I gave the check in process only 2 stars as the code we were given was for a lockbox that is no longer in use. There is an electronic lock on the front door which was a surprise. The folks at Sota got us straightened out, but there was a little anxiety as we had a significant investment in groceries heating up in our vehicle.
All in all a really positive experience that was enjoyed by everyone in our family.
My wife and I just spent a week renting this property. We were joined by our family for a total part of 10. The property description is very accurate. We loved the solitude, huge lot, pool, and swing set for our grandchildren. The appliances are all high-end as are the dishes, glassware, etc.
My in-laws and sister and her husband have lake homes on nearby Pelican Lake, neither of which compare to this home. They all stopped by for a visit and were suitably impressed. My 7-year old grandson didn't want to go home.
Nothing is perfect, and I did leave a few constructive criticisms. The house is ideal if you have your own boat/kayak, etc. We don't own them so never got out onto the lake. Frankly, I was put off by the high rental rate for either a boat or kayak. By the end of our stay we could have purchased a good kayak for what they wanted in rent. Many other homes we considered had two kayaks that came with the house, so that's a competitive disadvantage for this home. In addition, I would rate the swimming area at the dock as "poor" due to the abundance of weeds and algae. With that in mind, the sparklingly clean pool was wonderful.
All-in this is still an easy 5-star home. I would absolutely rent it again and actually hope to, depending on the ability of our family to join us. We made a ton of wonderful memories at Stakke Lake!
My friends and I had a relaxing and wonderful weekend away at this property. The house is modern, clean, and cozy. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet winter getaway.
This property is truly a hide away HAVEN! We were there 5 nights for an extended weekend! 10 adults and a baby…plenty of room for everyone inside and out! Great location! Easy access!
So quiet, private, and meticulously kept!! The heated pool was a bonus being we had a 7 month old baby with! Anything you could possibly need available in the house! Just bring your fishing gear and your groceries and you are set! Great fishing too!! Looking forward to booking again!!
