A fun and wonderful place to stay. Spacious, college themed home with all the amenities and close to both the school and other facilities. Spread across three stories there are multiple sets of stairs to deal with. Perhaps a challenge for those less mobile.
The only other challenge to the property is a short and steep driveway which took some time to get used to. My car would frequently bottom out while barely moving. Parking on the street is available.
The owners were thorough and responsive. Any questions I had were answered very quickly. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Eugene area.
Everything was first class. Enjoyed the Oregon Duck theme throughout the house. Spectacular views throughout home. We will definitely be staying at the Mallard Manor again.
Traveled all the way from Atlanta, Georgia with my daughter who compete in U20's. I didn't know we'd encounter a bit of Southern hospitality in the stix! Views were amazing! Host responsive! Proximity to Hayward Field ideal. The only thing that could have made our stay better, would have been to share the space with more family and friends! Definitely a destination we look forward to returning!
We had a great stay at Robert's house. The home is spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Easy 10 minute drive to downtown and/or campus, and the UofO/Eugene touches throughout the house were next level. Highly recommend this house for a Duck game, graduation, parent's weekend, or any time you're looking for a great place in Eugene.
The house was absolutely perfect. There was 8 in our group. We came up to the Duck Game and the house was awesome. Plenty of room for all of us. Very comfortable. The decorations were so perfect . We will definitely stay again. Thank you.
We were able to stay here for a weekend while visiting family. Being a Duck alum it was just the funnest place. The house is gorgeous and has everything you would need in it. Everything was super clean, the beds were very comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. All of the decorations were so much fun and had fun FaceTime family and friends and sharing all the fun decorations. The view was beautiful and we had lots of visits from deer the whole weekend. It was super easy checking in and out. I would stay here again for sure and recommend to anyone.
Beautiful and comfortable house in the Eugene hills
A family reunion brought 4 siblings together to this 4 bedroom, 3-1/2 bath house in the Eugene hills. Terrific kitchen, plenty of room to stretch out, quality construction, and a resident mule deer family. Nice view from the front of the house (several picture windows) and the deck. Good hiking is 10 minutes away, several grocery stores less than 5 minutes away. Great all around.
We had three generations staying to celebrate our daughter's graduation from University of Oregon. The space in the house comfortably accommodated all 8 of us and the decor could not be beat for a U of O event! Robert was very responsive leading up to our stay and everything was in such good order, we didn't need to contact him during our stay. The kitchen is well stocked, there are plenty of towels, the beds and linens are comfortable, and there is ample living space for all to gather. In our 4 years visitung and staying in Eugene, this house is our highlight and is so perfect for a group. I highly recommend!
If you need to be close to campus, or really anything in Eugene- this spot is awesome. Spacious, updated, impeccable decorating and a response owner (I had a question not a problem). We will be back for sure!
Our group's stay at Robert's home was incredible! We were all blown away by all the Oregon Duck memorabilia, furnishings and details.
The home itself is everything a UO Duck could dream to furnish a house with. We all had ample space to relax, eat and have fun.
Robert's house was immaculately clean, quiet, spacious and had gorgeous views of South Eugene. It was also well stocked and well appointed with whatever we needed for the weekend.
Robert is such a great host and was so accommodating and flexible, allowing us to check in early and check out a bit later. He even went as far as providing a few discount passes to the Nike store for our group. Communication was great with him, and he was always quick to respond and provide detailed information.
We all are looking forward to returning next year for another game and can't wait to stay again.
Thanks Robert, GO DUCKS!
We traveled with a total of 8 adults to watch an Oregon football game. Location was perfect for the game, for food, and for entertainment in town. The home is beautiful. Appears to be recently renovated and looks like outstanding craftsmanship. We happened to be cheering for the visiting team… but loved and appreciated the school spirit and all the duck memorabilia. A great house, we would absolutely love to stay here again.
The property is as advertised. The decor is tasteful and fun and the home is cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely with lots of wildlife. We truly enjoyed our stay
Sincere hospitality and contented comforts. A good life is to be found here.

Hi! I'm Robert.
As a graduate of the University of Oregon and a freelance creative marketer, curating the experience at the Mallard Manor is the manifestation of my life's work. I am currently acting as the Director of the Warsaw Sports Marketing Center at the University and am excited to share our home that we designed to welcome lovers of both academia and athletics when visiting our vibrant college community in Eugene.
Why they chose this property
We are excited to welcome guests to experience the rich culture of our college town...curating our home for your enjoyment to discover many nuggets about Eugene, the University, and all of it's heritage has been one of my most joyous creative endeavors. Wherever I travel, I always appreciate getting a glimpse of what it feels like to live like a local, and we hope that is the feeling that you’re able to take away from staying in our home.
What makes this property unique
Nestled in the trees in the hillside of South Eugene, our home is in close proximity to the University but also among the beautiful nature that makes the Pacific Northwest such an inspiring setting. We are neighbors with the local deer and turkey, and our backyard is a front row seat to all of it's beauty.
