Stunning views!

We had a wonderful stay at the Family Tides house. The house is comfortable and functional for adults and children. Well stocked with everything you need to make a meal, with basic spices etc. The beach is right down the stairs and listening to the ocean put you to sleep is my kind of tranquility. Loved all the nautical decor and the kids loved the huge selection of games. Hoping to visit again and make many more memories at this beautiful property.

The Views are Amazing

This was a great property for our family to relax in for a few days. The kitchen was very functional and well equipped. But the best part of the property are the views which I feel really cannot be beat.

Beautiful place

The house is gorgeous and the views are spectacular. It was a peaceful space for family to enjoy. Kitchen well stocked. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. This was the only thing missing.

Perfect location

Family Tides was ideal for our family group of 6 adults. There is plenty of living space. Gorgeous view! We watched seals on the rocks and an otter on the beach. Good times here!

Gorgeous beach view

Very comfortable house right on the beachfront. Gorgeous view up and down the coast from the living area and the master bedroom. It is a very nice beach to walk on. At low tide there are a number of tide pools to look at.

80 th Birthday Party

This property had everything you needed to host a birthday party. Enough seating for dinner, beautiful view, great bbq. One of the best pay it forward houses ever, with spices, dressings, etc. Highly recommend this property.

Amazing view and beach access!

Best view we've had on the ocean! We watched seals and all the birds from the comfortable living room. Goat rock national wildlife refuge was just a short walk down the beach. I even saw a puffin! It was perfect for our family!

Spectacular views!

This home was amazing! Beautiful ocean views out every window. It was clean and comfortable and well stocked. We really appreciated having warm water in the outdoor hose for washing off sand. We'd definitely stay there again.

Annual Family Vacation

Wonderful location that has easy beach access. The large house provides an area for all to get together, cook, play games and relax as well as a smaller area for some quiet time. Restaurants, shops and grocery stores are just a mile away so convenient and a short drive for anything we needed. If we decide to spend more time in Brookings, we would absolutely see if this home was available for our time there.

Girls getaway

This property was fantastic for myself, daughters and granddaughters. We were able to comfortably spread out and have our own space. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The very short private access to the beach and proximity to the Redwoods was a huge plus. We would definitely stay here again.

Problems

Not that it was a big deal but the middle bedroom downstairs,the handles on the door would come off. Also the end bedroom in the corner.only one outlet worked which I figured out. The outlet by the water heater which is ground fault was tripped. When I reset it the outlets worked. The biggest problem was that the downstairs shower only had about 5 minutes of hot water. There was also trash underneath the deck by the fire wood. Other than that we really had a great time. I only mention the other things so it can be corrected. Thanks. Marty

Family time

We had the most amazing time. The house is cozy and bright. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed everything. The beds are so comfortable and listening to the ocean in the evenings was so lovely. The walk down the stairs Wasn’t too bad and was easily done by our parents. Thank you for opening your house up to us. We will be back.

Great home.

We had a wonderful stay at the family tides home. The private beach access was nice. It’s very nice just walking down the stairs. Not having to load up in a car is a big plus for me.

Wonderful reunion in Brookings

4 cousins and their spouses decided to visit Brookings where we all spent time with our grandparents over 40 years ago. This house was the best possible place for us to reconnect and relive childhood memories. The house was stunning and the views from the windows and deck were breathtaking. Your property manager was the best. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. We hope to be back someday.

Stunning location!

We have stayed at many houses on the coast over the years and this location is breathtaking! Just steps away from a beautiful non crowded beach, we loved watching the seals in the water and on the rocks. Definitely recommend staying here!

Great spot for family vacation

Great home and location! House has everything you want or need for all ages. Access to beach was so great for the kids. Bedrooms are roomy with comfy beds. Big supply of towels avoided needing to do laundry to often. Kitchen well set up for feeding large groups. We will miss having the ocean lull us to sleep and greet us in the morning!

Great house

The house was overall amazing. The view and beach access is worth every penny. The house was clean and comfortable. There were a couple things needing attention (upstairs 1/2 bathroom toilet constantly running, trash compacter opener broken), but these little details don’t detract from the overall the stay. We will be back again. Thank you for sharing you’re house with us!
