Great Location
Since we were staying for over a month, our needs may be different that the needs of other guests. The Location was perfect for us-parking, bus, market, restaurants, hotel. Our Host was very accommodating. The unit is on the ground floor of the Host's residence. Very quiet. Perfect size for 2 adults. Kitchen was adequately furnished. Microwave would have been nice, but counter space is limited. A TV would have been nice to use for iPad streaming. Since there was no AC, and it was warm, we needed to borrow fans for the living area and bedroom. The window in bedroom let in air and was screened, but there was no screen for sliding door in living area, so at times bugs were an issue. Side chairs and end tables would have been better than the futon/bed. We had friends for dinner, and there was not enough comfortable seating for everyone. Overall, it was a very good experience, and we would certainly consider it again for another visit.

Stunning Views of Lake Lugano
Gorgeous clean modern flat with an absolutely incredible view of Lake Lugano! Very nice. Within walking distance of TASIS and town.

Unbezahlbarer Blick auf den Luganer See aus dem Appartment und von der Terrasse! Tolle Lage nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß zum Zentrum des hübschen Örtchens Magnola mit einigen netten Restaurants und einem kleinen Supermarkt. Ein flexibler früher Check-In war möglich. Nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Gerne wieder.

Hervorragend!
Die Lage ist ein Knaller, die Aussicht auf den Luganersee See ebenfalls. Montagnola ist ein sehr schönes kleines Dorf, ca. 3km oberhalb von Lugano, alles wichtige (kleiner Lebensmittelmarkt, Café, Restaurant) ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Etwas Italienisch sollte man können, deutsch oder englisch spricht fast keiner. Die Vermieterin ist total nett und spricht zum Glück fließend deutsch. Die Wohnung befindet sich auf einem unverschämt tollen Grundstück. Sie ist klein, bietet aber alles, was man braucht, hier und da vielleicht eine Küchenutensilie zu wenig. Zur Zeit kein TV, was wir aber genossen haben. Fernsehen kann ich auch daheim. Fazit: Eine Woche langt nicht für das Tessin. Wenn wir wiederkommen sollten, wäre das eine Top-Adresse zum erneuten Wohnen. Kleiner Tipp, nach Lugano den Bus nehmen, der vor der „Haustür“ hält.

Comfortable and easy stay for a short weekend stay
Thank you for the hospitality - we found the apartment to fulfill our needs to explore the Ticino area over a short weekend. Good to note - wifi was very strong given we had multiple devices running video calls at the same time. Lots of storage space should you need it, and a beautiful view. Thank you!

Sehr netter Empfang und unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe. Viel Privacy. Die Fotos bilden die Wohnung gut ab. Alles nötige ist vorhanden - bei uns auch einige Kochbasics wie Kaffee, Salz, Öl. Sehr gerne wieder.

Wonderful views and location
Such a nice gem of a property! We loved the location and views. We anticipate that the furniture might be upgraded sometime soon, as the old peices seemed odd (lawnchairs were the only chairs to sit in) in such a beautiful apartment. Really spectacular apartment though- has everything we needed. Washer, dryer, clean and updated bathroom, perfect kitchenette, and amazing little private patio. We loved so much about this place.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Betreuung während unseren Ferientagen. Separate Wohnung und Parkplatz mit Privatsphäre. Wohnung top modern und wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Bike-Touren etc. Wir haben den direkten ÖV-Anschluss geschätzt.
