Super clean, remodeled home with an incredible view of the St. Clair River.Kitchen is very well stocked in cooking supplies. The highlight of the trip is From the picture windows.
Everything was perfect about my trip. I felt like I was in a brand new house. It was spotless! Thank you for letting me stay here. It was phenomenal and I hope I can come back. 1 million percent recommend this place to anyone who needs a getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The views are amazing and make for a very relaxing time! The bed was comfortable, home was very clean, kitchen well equipped, check-in/out easy. The cons would be low water pressure in shower, no ottomans for the livingroom chairs and no railing of any kind to prevent a child or person with balance issues from falling off the deck into the riverr.
We were there for my father's funeral. Having a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay made a difficult time much easier.Beautiful views, even in the winter.
The property is right on the river with windows facing the water in nearly every direction. Even in the fall weather, we were able to enjoy the patio and deck below. A well thought out renovation provided comfort and a real sense of being in a great getaway place. The kitchen was functional, well equipped, and allowed whomever was there to watch and appreciate the river's activity. Overall, this was one of the nicer places we have stayed. Even 33 steps up and down did not stop us from enjoying the area on both sides of the river.
My husband and I stayed 3 nights to celebrate our Anniversary. The pictures are very accurate of the property. It is so well appointed and clean. We really loved watching the freighters go by. I loved sitting there reading a book taking in the views & fireplace! We will definitely be back!
I booked this location along with several other homes and hotels in the area as part of a family reunion event. My sister and her 2 daughters stayed here. The place was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view. The pictures in the posting are very accurate. It was located perfectly between Port Huron and St. Clair for restaurants and other activities. Unfortunately, it was not ideal for our needs. All of our big family gatherings were at big venues. But, we have a family that loves to sit around and play cards or just pop in and visit and chat in small groups. This place has a strict 4 people only, no visitors policy. So, even just my husband and I dropping by to see my sister, or the cousins coming over to hang out and play cards was not allowed. Again the place is great and I do not hold this against the owner for their policy. We just didn't think of this ahead and it did not work great for us.
Beautiful views, clean, well managed and all around exceptional. Four friends celebrated 60 years of friendship and were completely comfortable. The deck was a perfect place to relax. Can’t wait to book it again. Thank you!
My husbands family is from Marysville and we try to meet up there every few years. Having a toddler we decided a VRBO would be more comfortable for us than a hotel room. This place did not disappoint. The views on the water were spectacular. We loved that the host included links to the ship trackers as well. The steps down to the property were well made and sturdy so even my elderly father in law who has knee problems made it down and up without issue.
The place was extremely clean and came with everything we could have needed to be comfortable.
The location in regards to town is perfect - it’s a very short drive to Meijer to get anything we needed. Parking was great and it was easy to get to from any direction we came.
Me, my husband, our two adult sons enjoyed the stay, the view, and we walked and ate downtown Port Huron. We also did the Lady Huron Cruise which was very nice. Every morning we woke up to a beautiful view of the water.
Very nice home with a great location. Many large freighters go by every day.
Very nice home. It shows a lot of thought and planning were put into having it ready for visitor's. Nice location with great restaurants, art fairs, farmers markets and wineries. Highly recommend the Green Barn Winery and the Milkhouse Ice Cream Shop in an actual Dairy barn.
Celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary at this beautiful place. We love to see freighters and this is the place to view them. The home is well equipped. There are many steps to the home but they have made it possible for anyone to get up and down.
