We had a great time over the Thanksgiving break. My daughter and her family hunt in Llano. So we were close enough to go visit them and she was able to come see us with my grandchildren. The house is very spacious and we enjoyed our stay. The views are beautiful. Would love to come back and stay again take advantage of the Lake.
House was awesome, lots of room. Robert was awesome about communicating with us. Short walk to the lake from the back door. Was able to park our boat on the bank all weekend with no issues.
The location of the house to the lake was great. We took chairs and floats to the lake for hours at a time. It was convenient to walk the dog in the neighborhood and at the lake. She could walk in the water and swim. Robert was awesome to work with. He even left a wagon, chairs and awning for us to use by the lake. The house is equipped with everything you could need. He even left us a bag of ice to use. He was an exceptional host and super accommodating. The house is huge and plenty of space & friendly neighbors around. My husband and I and our kids ages 17 & 20 were there and they loved their own space. We booked this last minute when our Yellowstone Montana vacation was cancelled due to the flood. The kids said it was a great back up plan for a vacation. We even got a fishing guide and caught white bass and a huge striper. Excellent place and would visit again.
Really enjoyed our stay during the solar eclipse. Private neighborhood and we had all we needed to unplug. The lake was very low which we anticipated however we did not anticipate that the dry lake bed would be filled with beautiful bluebonnets and other wildflowers at their peak. Was fun exploring the lake bed right out our back door and was a quick walk to reach the water. Neighborhood easy to walk around with lots of wildlife (birds, deer etc. ) and the private road leading to the house had some of the best wildflowers we saw on the trip. Covered porch area in back yard with table and some chairs and we used this quite a bit.
The living room and furniture were comfortable. The master bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed. All bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Nice towels and linens provided. The kitchen had a good supply of dishes/cups/bowls and there was a large area with spices to use. We had to hunt a little for some cooking supplies and were a little confused how to start garbage disposal but we figured it out.
Main grocery store about 20 min away so some planning required. Small gas station with some supplies located within 3 miles.
Robert reached out prior to our trip and was very pleasant and responsive to all inquiries. Welcomed us into his home with 2 bottles of wine and solar eclipse glasses. We appreciated the hospitality. Thanks Robert for a great trip!
