Great Rental Property on 30A

Our family of 10 had an amazing vacation at Sandy Knickers! House was very clean and nicely furnished, easy access to private beach, restaurants and shopping on 30A. The property owners were very nice to work with and made the process easy from start to finish. I would highly recommend this vacation home.

Great house!

I have nothing but positive things to say about this home. It was the perfect location! Such an easy walk to the private beach. We also loved walking to Alys Beach in the morning for breakfast/coffee. There were plenty of beds for our large group. The extra beach chairs were also an added bonus. Our group has already talked about renting this house again in the future. I would highly recommend!

Chillin’ at Sandy Knickers

A bit of rain and an unusual cool spell could not dampen our Spring Break at Sandy Knickers. The property is well represented on their website but we were pleasantly surprised and impressed to find all the creature comforts and more. There were no mid vacation runs for extra soap, paper towels, trash bags or propane for the grill. It was nice to have a regular coffee pot and a Keurig type pod one as well. The were silverware, kitchen utensils, plates and glasses aplenty-including nice plastic options. The rooms were nicely appointed and the beds were most comfortable. The generous games and puzzles provided felt like being at home. The heated pool was perfect since it was cooler on the beach. Having the beach 3 minutes away was such a treat. Having several chairs and an umbrella provided was lovely. The third floor view to the Gulf was spectacular and restful. The property is right off 30A and convenient to reaching a nice, new Publix on Hwy 98. Originally we rented a 6 person golf cart from Better Beach Golf carts. They were terrific to work with and provided a 15% discount. We found, for our purposes, that we really did not need the golf cart even though you could drive it on 30A. We had some minor maintenance issues which we quickly remedied. Our property managers, Dolly and Rebecca, were the best I have ever worked with on a property. They were responsive, helpful with suggestions, and “git er done” gals! Maybe because it was Spring Break, we had a bit of road noise but we brought sound machines for the kids’ bedrooms on that side and that helped. Next door two properties are being built and the crew started early. Our backyard had ivy like fencing to offer pool privacy from the activity. The framing phase should be over soon. The app for the property was very handy and offered lots of information on your phone for finding places to eat and things to do. I would recommend loading it and studying it before you go. Many restaurants did not take reservations so you will need to plan accordingly, especially for dinner. Lining up at 4:30 pm for a 5:00 pm restaurant opening was a bit foreign to us. We ended up cooking more at home than we originally planned but we had all we needed in the kitchen to cook with so it worked out fine. We enjoyed our stay.

Pristine Property

My family had a wonderful stay at Sandy Knickers! The home was pristine, well-stocked, and a short walk/bike ride from all of the greatest spots along 30A. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bunk room had a great set up for my teenage children. The beach was beautiful and quiet during our Thanksgiving stay. I give this property an A+!

Perfect private beach vacation in wonderful location and amazing hosts.

We stayed for 6 nights at Sandy Knickers. House was perfect for our family and very well stocked with essentials. Hosts were very responsive with any questions. Private beach was idyllic. Saw dolphins from the shoreline, gorgeous water, and beach perfect for children (ages 5 and 2). Beach access very nearby and takes 2 minutes to get there. Plunge pool was great for the kids as well. Alys beach and Rosemary beach nearby with cute shops and restaurants. Lovely view of sunset from the top porch. My kids are already asking when they can go back to the “Florida house!”
