 The picturesque village of Vira is part of the unique Gambarogno Riviera. The area lies on the left bank of Lake Maggiore and stretches for ten kilometers to the Italian border. The district Gambarogno is characterized by chestnut woods, lush vegetation, a Mediterranean climate and a mountain landscape with the peaks of Monte Tamaro and Monte Gambarogno.

The cozy 2-bedroom apartment with a covered terrace of 12 sqm and a 70 sqm private garden is located in Casa Bianca above Vira. The house built in the Ticino country house style belongs to the holiday complex Residenza Viramonte. Six houses are distributed here on a cultivated, approximately 16. 000 square meter hillside property. 

Due to the elevated position you have from the apartment number 13 a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore and on the opposite side of the lake from Locarno to Tenero. The 60 m2 apartment can accommodate a maximum of four people. The decor captivates with a combination of original and modern furnishing. In the high, light-flooded rooms you can leave everyday life behind quickly.

The bedroom has a double bed (1.80 m) and a spacious wardrobe and direct access to the covered terrace. The living room is furnished with two high-quality sofas (including a sofa bed, 1.50 m), a round dining table and a TV / radio. In the open kitchen to the living room you will find everything you need for cooking. A Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee machine (bring your own capsules) and a kettle and toaster are also available. The kitchen also has a dishwasher, a fridge and an oven. The spacious bathroom / WC with bathtub is characterized by the handcrafted original tiles in the Italian style.

Outside the apartment is the terrace and the adjacent private garden. From both, you can marvel at the unique sea of lights on the opposite shore in the dark. The outdoor area is equipped with a dining table and sun loungers. The apartment also includes a lockable garage and free Wifi. 

Residenza Viramonte also has a gym, a pool with landscaped gardens, sun loungers, a children's playground, a ping-pong table, a shared barbecue in the pergola by the pool and a shared washing machine. For bicycles is a lockable bicycle garage ready.

The Scesana bus stop, 150 meters away, is served by bus lines 326 and 330. The village of Vira can be reached on foot in 20 minutes on a beautiful hiking trail.
