About this property

Traditional cottage overlooking the Atlantic

Just 10 minutes by car from Clonakilty in County Cork, this traditional cottage is located in the village of Ring. Even the journey is terrific. You drive from Clonakilty along the Atlantic arm through picturesque bays and enjoy a breathtaking view of Inchydoney Beach. The 150 year old cottage is very cozy. It combines many traditional elements with modern interiors. The cottage has a kitchen with a fireplace, a living room and 3 bedrooms that can sleep up to 6 people. The Atlantic Ocean extends right in front of the cottage and has a fantastic view. Surrounded by a unique nature, it is a great place to relax.

Clonakilty is a lively, pretty little town, which comes very authentic. There are many pubs with live music of different directions. 15 minutes drive away is Inchydoney Beach - the # 1 beach of all Irish beaches. Here you can swim and surf or just go for a walk and afterwards enjoy a fish soup in the spa hotel. Within walking distance to the cottage are small bays. Enjoy the tranquility of nature!

Enjoyed this beautiful location immensely
I and a friend stayed in this cottage in mid May and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful West Cork location. The cottage is nicely equipped and Romana was very responsive to any questions that we had. If you book this cottage, make sure to book a half day spa day at Inchydoney Hotel and Spa. Amazing.
