About the host

As world travelers, who did the Covid Cannonball run, we landed in Historic District Franklin amongst so many incredible people here in this community.
Why they chose this property
Since 1901 the land at 400 Boyd Mill Ave in Franklin,TN has been a place of craftsman, spirits, music, and human rights have found themselves gathering here!
Now in our backyard we enjoy the same traditions.
Our stone cottage has been a rental property for almost a 100 years after a distillery owned by the Womack brothers distillers of the Jack Daniels-liking were run off this property under Tennessees prohibition in 1909 by a "stroke of the pen" by the Governor of Tennessee.
You know they say, “If the walls could talk!” We know the land still speaks loud and clear and we wish you all to visit cottage and walk the land along the creek. Imagine the endless inspiring stories of the American Dream manifested in a 100 year old home provided by Dr. Dan German who built these cottages as the renter cottages.
We, as the new caretakers of this Dr. German built home, that matches no other property the same on Boyd Mill, as we have fortified this cottage on the Womack Bros distillery so that we can provide a safe and memorable rental experience.
