Bourbon and Beyond overnight trip

Property manager provided concise info and it was so easy to get in property, he provided lots of useful details and instructions. Apartment was decorated beautifully and bed was so comfy and neighborhood was quiet! We slept great! I give it 10 stars! Would definitely stay again!

Glorious !

Was super quaint, very clean, decorated to perfection and was just super cool w a historic feel. For us, the location was close to everything we needed. We would definitely recommend.

Fantastic space!

This was bigger than we expected it to be. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Nice exposed brick and fireplaces with electric candles made it cozy. We'll definitely be back!

Superb apartment!!

Such a great apartment!! Loved all the exposed brick and doors!! It was very comfortable and we really enjoyed staying there. Wish we could’ve had a longer stay. If we’re ever back in Louisville, we will definitely try and stay here again!! Thanks so much for the hospitality!!

Clean, comfortable loft

Our group of five spent one night at this property. The neighborhood felt safe. The property was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The communication from the host was great. We would stay here again.

A wonderful place to stay!

Everything about my stay was wonderful. The location was great and convenient. The property was clean and easily accessible. The owners were very responsive and answered every question I had. I was a little worried about staying by myself in Butchertown, but it felt very safe, I will definitely stay again if I have the need for another short term rental in Louisville again— I’ll definitely stay here.

New Edition Legacy

We were in town for the New Edition concert and had a blast! We were very pleased with our accommodations and Tyler was a great host. The apartment decor was beautiful and the neighborhood seemed quiet and everyone was very friendly. We were very close to downtown and were able to Uber to the show with no problems. Would definitely stay again and we highly recommend if you are ever in the area. We took Tyler up on his restaurant suggestion and went to Big Bad Breakfast on our way home, food was great and so was the atmosphere. Hope we can visit again soon!! Thank you Tyler☺️

Gorgeous place to stay!

This place is gorgeous!! I loved the exposed brick throughout the loft!! I only wish we had been able to stay more than one night!! You know its a great place to stay when you try to keep yourself awake at night to enjoy it because you know when you wake up its gonna be time to leave :/ The only downside was the parking. It was kinda sketchy when we arrived late at night, but it was worth it once we got inside! There was also a weird wall that blocked the road in front of the building. I believe it was a one way. But there was literally a cement wall dividing the street in two. We ended up going down the wrong side when we got there trying to find the building. Other than that, you should definitely give this place a try!

While the pictures are accurate, the description is missing a few things. The bathroom floor is sinking in. We had to step over the 2nd stair on the building staircase for fear of it breaking. If you’re anything other than a heavy sleeper, you’ll need earplugs to drown out the movement from the 3rd floor apartment, A/C unit, and the bedroom ceiling fan. Be sure to bring extra TP as well. We were left 1 1/2 rolls for our 5 day, 4 night stay. Apartment definitely need some TLC. We wouldn’t stay again.

Fun 2 Days in Louisville

We had a wonderful stay in Louisville and apartment #3 was fabulous and very comfortable to stay in. Only wish we could have stayed longer both in Louisville and enjoyed the apt. more...The building is old and from the outside, you wonder if you have arrived at the right place. The street number assures you that you have! You have to climb a tall staircase to get to the units. Our unit had been carefully and tastefully renovated. Yes the floors creak and groan but that is the character of the building. Every detail was well taken care of inside with thoughtful details. Bed was a little soft for my liking...but I slept wonderfully. The only negative is the air conditioning...it is loud and noisy when it is on. I raised the temp so that it still kept the apt. cool but then the air conditioning didn't come on so often. Take time to explore the city. Highlights..The 4 Bridges is a great walk across the Ohio River both in the day and night, Graters Ice Cream, Door to Nowhere, Bourbon Tours and tasting (both in Louisville and Bardstown), Jack Fry's and Feasts BBQ for dinner and driving the old neighborhoods.

*Spectacular place *

This unit was absolutely perfect. The communication was above anything I could have asked for or expected. The outside of the building might have one taken back, but once you step foot inside, it is absolutely perfect. Beautiful, large windows throughout. Natural light, TV in the living room and bedroom, the most comfortable couch and bed ever. ..the list goes on and on. I stayed on the 2nd floor, so there were many steep steps to climb, but it was definitely doable. Just a heads up for the elder population. The only other thing is there is a washer and dryer, but you do need to bring some change because it is $2 a load to wash and dry. This was not an issue to me, just something I was not aware of. I can't recommend this place enough. I hope to stay again any chance it is available. Thanks so much!

Great updated piece of history

Loved our quick overnight at Tyler's place. Google maps took us down a very narrow street that was not helpful finding the place so check location before driving. The historic house was clean and updated. Tyler was very easy to get ahold of and helped us overcome our Google Maps' lack of direction. The house was not as close to Whiskey Row as I expected but we had a great time there and enjoyed the comfortable bed afterwards! Thank You Tyler!

Perfection!

Charming, clean, enough amenities without feeling like you were house sitting... ie warm and homey without feeling like youwereliving in spmeone elses space... in an interesting hip part of town. Felt safe and private. Was within walking distance to shoos and restaurants if you like a good walk.
