Beautiful views, and worked out well

Good location, beautiful views. Only issue was the fragrance from the laundry detergent on the towels and bedding was very strong and seemed to bother my sinuses.

We enjoyed our nice little getaway. The apartment was clean, had everything we needed and had beautiful views. Bigger and nicer than the listing pictures.

Wonderful

The inside looks like it is brand new. Very very clean and comfortable. Linens were great. We felt like it was home. The shower was excellent, high pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen was immaculate and had everything we needed. We had seals, eagles fishing and a whale right outside our window. I recommend it highly. 5+++ stars

Amazing ocean views

This place was really neat! More like an apartment complex, but i was in the deer room which had a view of the ocean and mountains from every window! I had eagles flying by my windows. It had a community washer/dryer but soap/ dryer sheets included which was great. I thought studio was perfect for 1-2 people. Thank you!!

Sitka Vacation

The apt was very clean and the perfect size for us. The view from the room is awesome. We saw lots of eagles, some otters and seals. It also has a nice balcony to have a glass of wine to end your day!

Best Views in Town for us right out the window.

Property was in a fantastic spot right on the water edge. You can hear the waves crashing and it will lull you to sleep. We saw whales and eagles all from dining window.

Pleasant surprise

This was a last minute booking when we got stuck in town due to weather. Very pleasantly surprised. The room is adorable and the view is beautiful.

some shortfalls

The kitchen is not well equipped. One frying pan that looks like it should have been thrown away. If you are short,the shower head will only hit your face and head and it is too high to reach to remove it. The space looks bigger than it is. The loveseat/twin bed is about six feet from the bed so make sure you know the third person well. The bedspread was stained and old. However, the tv was nice and the host was friendly and helpful. the view is great.

Beautiful view

Like everyone has said, the view is spectacular and the unit could not be cleaner. The write up on the unit is totally accurate. But it does fail to mention the full flight of stairs required to reach the suite.

Warning: The views from this rental will be totally distracting and it will be hard to go out! We took pictures right from the window and were able to see so much, wildlife, boating activity, it was amazing. The owners were quick to respond to an issue we had and resolved it on the spot. The laundry facilities were so convenient and we had everything we needed for a wonderful visit in Sitka!

Perfect Place to Stay in Sitka!

My husband and I were visiting friends who live in Sitka for 10 days. We booked the Deer Suite last minute with low expectations and oh man, were we pleasantly surprised at how perfect this property was for our stay! Our suite was updated, very clean, had a comfortable bed, and had AMAZING views of Sitka Sound (ocean) and Mt. Edgecumbe. The kitchen was well appointed and had plenty of space for us to prepare 1-2 meals each day with groceries from the nearby grocery stores. Washer and dryer were provided on-site which was very convienient to wash/dry our wet, muddy, and fishy clothes from our daily adventures! The property was quiet - we were the only visitors in the building (I think) and we fell asleep and woke up to the sound of waves rolling every night and morning. Although the property isn’t in downtown Sitka, it is a short drive north and provides some quiet and serenity! I recommended this property to our friends for future family visits to Sitka. We would definitely stay again, given the opportunity.

Nice room - beautiful view

Great room, easy check-in and a great view. Bed was comfortable with a view looking out over the water you can see from it. The kitchen was small with only a hot plate and a microwave, but had a fridge and was all we really needed. Would stay here again.

So clean and a great night sleep.

I loved being right on the Sound. I slept GREAT. The property is so clean and comfortable and was perfect for my work trip. The taxi and on-demand transportation options in Sitka are not good. A rental car is the best option when staying here. I didn't have a rental and transportation to and from town was difficult - but I slept so great at night that it didn't matter! Thanks for a great stay.
