This is a two bed, one bath cabin in a peaceful location. Full kitchen. It is perfect for enjoying a weekend getaway or an extended stay. Pigeon River State Forest is directly out your back door. Perfect location for hiking, hunting, and fishing. ORV trail access nearby. Optimal area for enjoying the beautiful color changes of fall. Only 2 miles from I-75 and gas station offering off road fuel 2 miles away. Tubing, kayaking or canoeing are a local favorite activities. 35 mins to Mackinaw or Petoskey. 20 mins to Gaylord.

Lovely Cabin in the Woods.

Very comfortable stay. Immaculately clean and a comfortable King size bed. The house felt roomy. Loved the deck for morning coffee and evening relaxing.

Easily accessible while still so private

Such a beautiful location! Sadly a mostly rainy weekend but the house was so spacious we were still able to enjoy board games and the kids could run around without bothering the others.

Peaceful stay

Location is conveniently close to expressway, slightly off beaten path, but peaceful and quiet nonetheless! Cabin was exactly like pictures shown. Very spacious, clean, owner super responsive and check in/out process was a breeze! Thank you!

Great location. Host and house are great. We had a wedding in the area so this was the perfect solution. I can see us renting this again in the future. It was the perfect place for us. Thanks for being a great host.

Stayed here over memorial day weekend the cabin was very clean quiet and cozy full kitchen charcoal grill and fire pit i would rate 10 out of 10 definitely one ill be staying staying at again

Very nice place!

This property is very clean and has everything you will need. The location is perfect for exploring upper Mich. Centrally located, it is private and quiet. Tyler is very accommodating and reply’s very timely. If you are planning a trip to Michigan I highly recommend Tyler’s place .

Great location for a northern Michigan getaway

The property is exactly like the pictures. It's about 30-45 minutes away from most of the cities in northern Michigan so it's a great place to stay if you want to visit a few different places. It was a very quiet and peaceful property that let us get away from the constant city lights and noises. It is close enough to I-75 that you still get cell phone signal if that is a concern.

Anniversary Weekend

We stayed at Cabin in the Woods over our 45th Wedding Anniversary weekend. The location for us was perfect as my daughter and son-in-law own property a short distance from the cabin and along with our grandkids, were camping for the weekend. The cottage was clean and well stocked, could use a little bathroom updating but bedding and kitchen was very adequate. We would definately stay here again when in the area.

Another great trip!

Our family arrived for our second year at this home! The updates over last year were lovely, the house is clean, comfortable and a great home base for our off road adventures. The restaurants nearby were great, check out the thirsty sturgeon and the pizza place both were great! Fires at night were great for star gazing as well!

Enjoyed the stay

My wife and I based out of the house for day trips in the Northern Lower (Cheboygan, Mackinaw Island, Petosky, Charlevoix, Boyne Falls). Good central location for that and the house and property were great for that.

Great place for peace & quiet

If you're looking for a quiet & clean place away from technology & noise, this is it! The house is simple & safe. Beds were comfortable. There was enough room & privacy for a couple of people. The bathroom was a bit challenging, but it served it's purpose. The host was very easy to connect with! The location is very remote, bring bug spray if you're planning anything outside. The best grocery store about 15 minutes away is Ken's. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

Quiet retreat

House was exactly as listed. Location was a nice quiet place to unwind and relax after lots of sight seeing. We even saw an elk in the backyard while we were there. Host was easy to reach and responsive with check in info. House was clean and had a good vareity of dishes and cookware.

Stay in the woods!

We were very pleased with the condition of the cottage in the woods! It was exactly as depicted in the online listing! Very quiet and easy access to main highway! We would recommend this stay to anyone that wants to stay in northern Michigan!

Peaceful property

The property was located in an area which afforded us the opportunity to enjoy the sounds and sights of nature. The beds were comfortable and the property was clean. The kitchen, while a bit dated, was very functional and had everything we needed for our stay. Definitely a property we would stay at again.
