View is great but the house needs a lot of work.
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the location on the lake (the lake, not the property). The road leading into the property was rough, not maintained. The view was great but the house was more rustic than pictures show and it was very dirty upon arrival. It had not been cleaned very well. Broken bowl and food in the freezer which was dirty, broken plate on floor and floors not swept, microwave had some food stuck to the button that opens it and the inside was dirty with food on the glass dish. The bathrooms not clean including soiled toilet seat and unclean shower with soap that had hair on it. We arrived late and so I noticed the freezer first and called the management company before I looked around further. She asked me to send her a picture which I did. However, we found the rest of the mess as we tried to unpack. Because it was late and we really wanted to settle in, we cleaned up so we could unpack. In the morning I went to the leasing office and showed them more pictures. The management company offered to have someone come out and clean but I explained we already did and emailed additional pictures to them. Also, the big picture window in the master bedroom leaked a lot when it rained. Loons and wildlife were fun to watch. The surrounding towns and things to do were great and did enjoy our time in the water and around the lake. I just would not rent this location again.

Wonderful rental property in Moultonborough
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved everything about our stay. Amazing views throughout the house. Nicely cleaned before our arrival. Quiet cove gives lots of privacy. Only issue we had was some screened in porch lighting not functioning but it didn’t impact us much. Make sure to grab a sub from JoJo’s down the street. Amazing! Staff at At The Lake were incredibly friendly.

Nice location—house not worth the price.
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is nice, views are great but description should also mention the sandbar is a hangout on weekends that gets pretty loud. Also in regard to the house itself the following is what we would note.1. Decks were full of twigs, leaves and branches — spent 25 minutes sweeping , there should be a small portable blower and that job would be 5 mins, but don’t believe they were swept before arrival.2. No towel racks in bathrooms or bedrooms— no where to hang towels.3. No waste baskets in bedrooms4. All screens in sliders need to be replaced.5. All windows should work— they do not.6. Need more chairs for the lake— resin Adirondack chairs would be perfect.7. Need new or updated outdoor furniture.8. Toilet seat in the lower bathroom does not stay up.9. Trash pick up was supposed to be daily— it was never picked up.

Great location, but house needs some repair
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a fun stay on Lake Winnipesaukee. The location on a quiet no-wake zone was great for kayaking, swimming and paddleboarding. The dock was new and we made great use of it. The living room and upstairs bedrooms were very comfortable. On the negative side, many screens were torn or missing all together which meant we could not open windows to enjoy cool breezes without getting bugs in the house. The downstairs beds were not very comfortable, and the deck needs to be sanded and stained. The trees over the deck need to be pruned/limbed up to make the deck seating a usable space.

This was such a cute house and had a great time.
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The porch was unsafe due to post not grounded. We could not walk on the deck without shoes and the wood and paint was very old and unkept. Very much needed to be painted. The dock had to be fixed once we called to let them know what was wrong. Overall was a great vacation. Price was a bit high for the condition of the house.
